Item Análise decisória para implementação de estratégias integradas para a redução de setup em processos industriais utilizando lógica fuzzy(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2024-06-09) SOUZA, Vanessa Silva; ALENCAR, David Barbosa de; SILVA, Ítalo Rodrigo SoaresThis article explores the application of Fuzzy Logic as a decision support tool for implementing integrated strategies aimed at reducing setup times in industrial processes. The study seeks to optimize operational efficiency and reduce variability in production processes, ultimately enhancing productivity. A computational model based on Fuzzy Logic was developed to analyze key variables impacting setup times and associated waste. The research was conducted in a company in the Manaus Industrial Park, specializing in electronics. The results showed that the combination of Tools and Equipment with Advanced Planning variables significantly impacts setup time by 86%, highlighting the importance of managing these variables to improve productivity.Item Automation and Intelligent Control in Drying and Curing of Paints and Varnishes: Application of Industry 4.0(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2025) SOUZA, Raimundo Alberto Farias de; SANTOS, Eliton Smith dos; ALENCAR, David Barbosa de; CAMPOS, Paola Souto; MORAES, Nadine Mustafa; Jandecy Cabral LeiteThis research aims to investigate the technologies, methods, and challenges in the drying and curing process of paints and varnishes applied to reflective strips, focusing on implementing Industry 4.0-based solutions. It proposes an integrated hardware and software model to automatically detect the curing level through light radiation, along with a real-time control system to optimize the process. Among the evaluated technologies, ultraviolet light curing (photopolymerization) stands out, aiming to enhance industrial production with quality and efficiency.Item Composting model with the reuse of organic waste in rural schools(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2021-11-01) SIMÕES, Natália Cristina Bezerra de Alencar; ALENCAR, David Barbosa deSchool institutions become producers of organic waste as a result of the daily consumption of school meals offered to students during the school year. An alternative, so that this material is not incorrectly released into the environment, is the implementation of a composting model that will reuse organic waste, generating humus, which will serve as fertilizer for the implementation of a vegetable garden in the school in the rural area. This work aims to propose a composter model in a School in the Rural Area of Manaus for the reuse of organic waste, to develop a prototype of composter for the production of humic substances and mineral nutrients for the creation of gardens, to prepare the manual with guidelines for the correct and sustainable management of the composting plant and the school garden and implementing the garden system through the composting process using school organic waste. The work is a case study that proposes to implement a prototype of compost for the production of humic substances and mineral nutrients for the construction of a school garden. It is intended that the proposal raises the awareness of the school community for the correct management and reuse of solid waste generated by the school and arouse in students and teachers the interest in environmental education and behavior change for the preservation of the environment in which they live.Item Estimativa da Incerteza de Medição nos Ensaios de Resistência Elétrica de Fios e Cabos Elétricos para Tensões Nominais de até 450/750V(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2024-10-22) CAVALCANTE, Henrique Augusto Mota; ALENCAR, David Barbosa de; BRITO JUNIOR, Jorge de AlmeidaThe electrical wire and cable market faces challenges with low-quality products, including electrical resistances above normative limits, which can lead to risks such as fires. This study addresses the estimation of measurement uncertainty in electrical resistance tests for wires and cables with nominal voltages up to 450/750V, applying the "top-down" methodology and using the Ishikawa Diagram to identify uncertainty sources. Measurements were conducted on collected samples using calibrated equipment. The developed mathematical model proved effective in ensuring compliance and enhancing safety.Item Implementation Of Methodologies In The Automatic Insertion Of Components For Optimization In The SMT Process: Applying The DMAIC Method(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2023) SANTOS FILHO, Ivo Amancio dos; ALENCAR, David Barbosa deThe automatic insertion of SMT components is a process used in the electronics industry that faces challenges related to the disorganization of assembly machines, resulting in low productivity, disorganized feeders, and delays in model change preparation. This study aims to implement lean production principles to improve the assembly process and identify the root causes of existing problems. Lean production tools and methodologies were applied to analyze and improve the automatic insertion process of SMT components. The results showed significant improvements, with greater organization, increased productivity, and reduced preparation times for model changes.Item Methodology For Assessing Environmental Risks In Labor Processes In Brazil(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2023) BRITO, Rute Franco Frazão; ALENCAR, David Barbosa deThis article aims to present a methodology to help labor lawyers understand the technical concepts related to the assessment of unhealthy conditions in the workplace. The expert assessment in this context requires facts and conclusions that are clear, objective, and based on technical and legal foundations. To establish a solid understanding of the topic, the paper begins by providing an overview of unhealthy concepts. The proposed methodology aims to provide lawyers with the tools and knowledge necessary for more efficient performance for the benefit of their clients. The expected results include the training of lawyers specialized in labor law to accompany unhealthy expertise with greater technical knowledge, allowing for a more grounded defense of their clients' interests.
