Fernanda Souza do NascimentoThis article presents a proposal for an electric measurement system for fuel tanks in thermoelectric plants, replacing the traditional manual method that shows inaccuracies. The proposed technology aims to enhance the logistics of fuel supply—critical for thermoelectric plant operation—through an automated system using capacitive probes, offering greater precision, reliability, and continuous monitoring of fuel levels.Item Methodology Proposal for Multicriteria Optimization Using NSGA-II in Industrial Applications(INSTITUTO DE TECNOLOGIA, 2023) CASTRO, Anderson de Oliveira; BEZERRA, Ubiratan Holanda; LEITE, Jandecy Cabral; AZEVEDO, Manoel Socorro Santos.; Professor Dr. Bernardo Borges Pompeu NetoThe paper proposes a methodology for multicriteria optimization using the NSGA-II genetic algorithm in industrial applications, specifically in the assembly process of electronic components in surface mount technology (SMT) machines. The study addresses problems such as feeder arrangement and head routing, aiming to reduce the total cycle time. The methodology integrates known approaches and applies multi-objective optimization to enhance machine performance, with results validated in a real industrial environment.Item Análisis estadístico comparativo de propiedades de aceites lubricantes usados en motores de combustión interna de una planta de generación eléctrica(Instituto de Tecnologia, 2022) MARTÍNEZ OLIVARES, Adriana Cecilia; LORENZO ZÁRRAGA, Marcos Daniel; SALAZAR MARTÍNEZ, José EnriqueThis work presents a comparative statistical study of the physicochemical properties of used lubricating oil samples from internal combustion engines in an electric power generation plant. The analysis is based on laboratory tests performed on 44 samples to determine the statistical significance of differences between oil brands and their relation to usage time. Normality tests, analysis of variance (ANOVA), and Tukey tests are used, revealing significant variations in properties such as viscosity, acid number, and metal content. The results support the hypothesis that lubricant performance depends on both the brand and the operating conditions.
