The article discusses the recycling of solder dross generated in the electronic component soldering process, using sawdust as an organic reducing agent. The aim is to develop a process that minimizes tin alloy consumption, reducing costs and environmental impacts. Factorial experiments were conducted to evaluate the influence of tank temperature and sawdust quantity on the yield of recycled solder. The results indicated that the combination of 265°C and 100g of sawdust provides the best recovery of solder dross.

The article examines environmental management in the production and innovation process of sustainable roofing tiles made from recycled PET bottles in a company located in the Manaus Industrial Hub. Using a qualitative-quantitative approach and case study, the research demonstrates product quality improvements through chemical formulation changes, emphasizing sustainability and the interaction between companies and innovation support institutions. The results highlight the technical and environmental feasibility of PET recycling for tile production, contributing to waste reduction and promoting sustainable practices.

The study investigates the feasibility of recycling waste from plastic injection industry effluent treatment stations by incorporating it into red ceramic production. Mixtures with 2%, 5%, and 10% waste relative to clay were evaluated, analyzing properties such as density, porosity, and flexural strength. The results indicate that the waste positively influences solid-state reactions, enhancing some mechanical properties of ceramic products, especially at concentrations up to 5%. The research presents a sustainable alternative for industrial waste disposal, aligned with environmental demands.
