Item ANÁLISE AMBIENTAL DA LOGÍSTICA FLUVIAL DE DERIVADOS DE PETRÓLEO NO TRECHO MANAUS - PORTO VELHO(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2017) COSTA, Neymara Silva; Prof. Dr. Ricardo Amorim de DeusThe adoption of preventive measures in the management of river transport logistics prevents significant environmental impacts, considering that the transport of petroleum derivatives can harm the environment. The Madeira River, an essential waterway in the Amazon basin, plays a strategic role in the transport of petroleum derivatives by tank barge (BT). The study analyzes the environmental impacts of this activity on the Manaus-Porto Velho stretch, considering factors such as seasonal variations and the need for adequate infrastructure.
