The research demonstrates that, despite the geographical and communication challenges of the region, technological convergence can contribute to the conservation of natural resources and the well-being of the population. The work explores the relationship between globalization, sustainable development, and technological advancement, highlighting the need for policies and strategies that integrate these areas for regional development.Item Protocolo Híbrido para Autenticação Quântica de Mensagens Clássicas com uso do Gerador de Sequências Pseudo-aleatórias Blum-Blum-Shub(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2006) AZEVEDO, Manoel Socorro Santos; ASSIS, Francisco Marcos de; FREIRE, Raimundo Carlos S.In the present time, when the search for computational and unconditional security is a reality, studies have been done to solve problems related to messages changes and authentication, in a safe way. Cryptographic systems are studied, valued and tested for real safety, allowing the cryptoanalysis of such systems. The quantum cryptography appears as a powerful allied to provide unconditional security. The quantum authentication of classic messages is a reality that can be put in practice in a relatively short time. A hybrid protocol authentication of classic messages is considered, using the BBS (Blum-Blum-Shub), pseudo-random sequence generator. Two case studies illustrate the method's effectiveness: parallel pump operation and tank level control. Methodologies for calculating air flow and pressure drop in exhaust systems are reviewed, with a focus on pneumatic conveying of particulates. The work proposes an improved methodological approach based on hydrodynamic models and presents real-world case studies, such as coke loading/unloading systems and alumina feeding in potlines. S. de.; Eduardo de Magalhães BragaThe study investigates the feasibility of recycling waste from plastic injection industry effluent treatment stations by incorporating it into red ceramic production. Mixtures with 2%, 5%, and 10% waste relative to clay were evaluated, analyzing properties such as density, porosity, and flexural strength. The results indicate that the waste positively influences solid-state reactions, enhancing some mechanical properties of ceramic products, especially at concentrations up to 5%. The proposed methodology analyzes and diagnoses the level of harmonic disturbances by evaluating the total harmonic distortion (THD) indicator, supported by an expert system based on a Fuzzy inference system. The study presents a systematic approach to assessing power quality, using regulatory standards and recommendations, and demonstrates the effectiveness of Fuzzy logic in formulating precise and standardized diagnostics.Item Sistema para Tomada de Decisão na Programação de Produção de Celular e Modem Utilizando Lógica Fuzzy(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2010) SILVA, Carlos Américo de Souza; COSTA JUNIOR, Carlos Tavares daThe objective of this paper is to present a model using fuzzy logic, which seeks to assist the process of making decisions as to which product should have priority in scheduling the manufacturing process where there are two classes of products (WCDMA Modem and Mobile Phone). With this, it aims to identify particularities and characteristics of the productive processes, creating a better sequencing of production, whose master plan of production will be able to meet demand according to market fluctuations. The main purpose of the proposed system is to assist professionals in industrial planning to determine which products should be prioritized in the production line based on manufacturing characteristics, such as delivery time, cycle time, production process, and margin contribution, creating a production program best suited to the reality of the organization, in other words, optimizing existing resources and increasing profits.Item Metodologia de Avaliação da Qualidade do Ruído nos Postos de Trabalhos Industriais Baseada em Lógica Fuzzy(Programa de Pós-Graduação em Engenharia Elétrica, 2010) NOGUEIRA, Maria Amélia Costa Saraiva; COSTA JUNIOR, Carlos Tavares daThe noise is ranked third among the most unhealthy agents affecting human health. Occupational noise that affects employees in their day-to-day tasks can be prevented through the involvement of employers and employees in a hearing conservation program. This study proposes the applicability of fuzzy logic to evaluate the quality of noise in industrial jobs, considering variables such as noise level and number of hours worked. Thus, using fuzzy logic modeling, measured noise levels were assessed, generating results that classify the work environment as satisfactory or high-risk, as well as providing guidance on whether or not to use safety equipment in hazardous environments. The goal is to enable the transport of workers and materials for the industrial production of the Compression Station - ECOMP in Juaruna. The ANSYS 8.0 program was used to analyze the stresses and deformations of structural elements subjected to loads. The study also presents a proposal for the mitigation of environmental impacts and addresses the logistical challenges faced in the Amazon region.Item Aplicação de Filtro Harmônico em Sistemas Elétricos de Baixa Tensão Utilizando Lógica Fuzzy(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2010) CIRINO, Weverson dos Santos; COSTA JUNIOR, Carlos Tavares daThis work presents a solution to minimize harmonic distortion in low-voltage electrical systems through the application of passive harmonic filters and the use of fuzzy logic. The proposed algorithm detects and calculates the frequencies at which the Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) value is elevated, comparing it with a normative index. Once the need for filter application is identified, the algorithm designs the passive filter, chosen for its ease of installation and low cost. The goal is to reduce the number of operator absences due to occupational diseases, such as RSI/WMSD, caused by repetitive efforts and inadequate postures. Automation was implemented to improve the ergonomic conditions of workstations and increase production. In the case of metallurgic industries, their working conditions are not suitable due to a series of factors, such as exposure to high temperatures, which cannot be cooled, creating adverse conditions like thermal shock and fatigue. This paper's general goal is to describe the importance of preserving workers' mental and physical health in the workplace through ergonomics. The study presents improvement suggestions and advice that may contribute to solving ergonomic problems related to workers' health.Item Redução do consumo de energia elétrica em Manaus através de medidas de eficiência energética em climatização industrial(INSTITUTO DE TECNOLOGIA, 2010) SILVA, Jorge Lúcio da; LEITE, Jandecy Cabral; COSTA JUNIOR, Carlos Tavares da; Jandecy Cabral LeiteThe article evaluates the impacts of reducing electricity consumption in a company at the Manaus Industrial Hub (PIM) through the optimization of energy efficiency (EE) in industrial air conditioning systems, using Fuzzy Logic as a basis. Measures such as replacing low-efficiency air conditioners with high-efficiency equipment, controlling external heat sources, checking pipeline losses, and adjusting thermal comfort temperature were implemented. It proposes the implementation of measurement, control, and diagnostic devices to optimize electricity use, highlighting the measurement and verification (M&V) methodology to assess savings. C.; Profª. Drª Aline Maria Meiguins de LimaThe article proposes a productivity monitoring model for an LCD production line, combining the Six Sigma methodology and fuzzy logic. The study was conducted in a company from the Manaus Industrial Hub, showing that the model is effective for measuring and increasing productivity, achieving the company's target of 120%. The studied company initially adopted multimodal transport (Sea/Air) but switched to air freight due to customs delays and material shortages, ensuring speed despite higher costs. The study evaluates service dimensions (speed, consistency, capability, availability, and frequency) and underscores the role of logistics planning in maintaining PIM’s competitiveness.
