Item Análisis estadístico comparativo de propiedades de aceites lubricantes usados en motores de combustión interna de una planta de generación eléctrica(Instituto de Tecnologia, 2022) MARTÍNEZ OLIVARES, Adriana Cecilia; LORENZO ZÁRRAGA, Marcos Daniel; SALAZAR MARTÍNEZ, José EnriqueThis work presents a comparative statistical study of the physicochemical properties of used lubricating oil samples from internal combustion engines in an electric power generation plant. The analysis is based on laboratory tests performed on 44 samples to determine the statistical significance of differences between oil brands and their relation to usage time. Normality tests, analysis of variance (ANOVA), and Tukey tests are used, revealing significant variations in properties such as viscosity, acid number, and metal content. The results support the hypothesis that lubricant performance depends on both the brand and the operating conditions.Item Implementação de Medidas e Uso de um Software Supervisório na Eficiência Energética de um Sistema de Refrigeração Industrial(Instituto de Tecnologia, 2023) RAABE, Matheus Arthur; SILVA, Pedro LuizThis paper aims to present the results of implementing a set of energy efficiency measures, supported by a supervisory software, in an industrial refrigeration system installed in a dairy factory. The study involved the collection and analysis of electric energy consumption data, equipment operation, and identification of improvement opportunities. With the implementation of actions such as evaporation temperature control, optimization of compressor operation, and the introduction of maintenance routines, a significant reduction in energy consumption and improvement in system reliability was observed. The results demonstrate the potential for energy and operational gains through the use of automation and supervision technologies in industrial processes.Item Processo Produtivo Básico: Um estudo de caso da aplicação das regras dos Controles de Pontos e Peças (CPPs) para as motocicletas industrializadas(Instituto de Tecnologia, 2023) BEZERRA, Aline Cristina; FERREIRA, João Felipe; MORAIS, Izabelle Morais de; CUNHA, Sandro Magalhães daThis paper analyzes the application of the Basic Production Process (BPP) rules, focusing on the Control of Points and Parts (CPPs) in the industrialized motorcycle sector in Brazil. The BPP is a minimum set of manufacturing operations required by the Brazilian government for industrialized products to benefit from tax incentives, especially in the Manaus Free Trade Zone. The case study examines how these rules affect the motorcycle production process, highlighting the challenges faced by companies in their implementation, the impacts on the production chain and the importance of the CPPs as an instrument for monitoring and controlling compliance with the production stages. The research shows that the correct application of the BPP and CPP rules is essential to guarantee tax benefits and stimulate regional industrial development, while promoting companies' competitiveness and legal compliance.Item Desenvolvimento de um sistema de prontuário eletrônico para atendimento em nutrologia(Instituto de Tecnologia, 2023) COSTA, Murillo de Oliveira; QUARESMA, João Nazareno NonatoThe dissertation presents the development of an electronic medical record system focused on nutrology care, with the aim of modernizing and facilitating the management of clinical information in specialized clinics. The motivation arose from the need to improve access, organization and security of patient data, replacing manual and decentralized methods with an efficient digital solution. The work was structured based on applied research and the use of the agile Scrum methodology in the development of the software. The proposed system allows for patient registration, recording of appointments, prescription of treatments, monitoring of clinical progress and issuing of reports, all in a user-friendly and intuitive interface. The author highlights the use of modern technologies and good development practices, prioritizing usability, information security and compliance with LGPD guidelines. The system was validated through tests with professionals in the field, who indicated gains in agility and quality of care. The dissertation concludes that computerization through an electronic medical record specific to nutrology contributes significantly to the efficiency of the health professional's work, improves clinical monitoring and strengthens the patient's confidence in the therapeutic process.Item IMPACTOS AMBIENTAIS CAUSADOS PELA FALTA DE FOSSAS SÉPTICAS NA BACIA HIDROGRÁFICA DO BAIRRO DE EDUCANDOS(Instituto de Tecnologia, 2023) WAUGHAN, Aldeisy de Fátima Monteiro; LEITE, Jandecy CabralThe study "Environmental Impacts Caused by the Lack of Septic Tanks in the Educandos Neighborhood Watershed", by Aldeisy de Fátima Monteiro Waughan, under the supervision of Jandecy Cabral Leite, analyzes the environmental impacts resulting from the lack of adequate sanitation infrastructure in the Educandos region. The research highlights how the lack of septic tanks and basic sanitation systems contributes to the contamination of water, soil and the increase in waterborne diseases. Using an approach based on data collection and environmental quality analysis, the study identifies the main sources of pollution and their effects on the local watershed. The results indicate that pollution caused by irregular sewage dumping compromises aquatic biodiversity, creates risks to public health and reduces the population's quality of life. The study suggests measures such as the implementation of effective public policies, community awareness and the construction of septic tanks as solutions to mitigate these impacts. The research shows that reusing the waste generates cost savings and reduces environmental impacts, with a return on investment in approximately nine months.Item Aplicação da Extrapolação de Richardson na Otimização de Problemas em Fluidodinâmica Computacional(Instituto de Tecnologia, 2020) SANTOS, Alexandre Marcus Madeira; MAGNO, Rui Nelson OtoniThe present work aims to investigate the application of the Richardson Extrapolation (ER) method as an alternative to reduce the simulation time of a specific CFD problem, which is related to a convective and diffusive problem. The geometry under study was built in the Blender software. The initial and boundary conditions were set using the BlenderFDS program, the calculation was done with a CFD code called Fire Dynamics Simulator (FDS), the results were extracted with Smokeview software. In addition, Richardson extrapolation code was developed in the Fortran programming language. Flow field properties such as specific mass, pressure, temperature and velocity were calculated for three mesh sizes with and without the RE method. The extrapolated results show promise for maintaining accuracy at a lower computational cost.Item CIDADES INTELIGENTES: PRINCIPAIS RANKINGS E PROPOSTAS DE MELHORIA PARA SÃO LUÍS, MARANHÃO(Instituto de Tecnologia, 2020) COSTA, Belisa Souza; BATISTA, Clauderino da Silva; COSTA, Sueli de SouzaThe concept of smart city has been spread as an adequate place for people to live, where technological resources cooperate with each other to generate well-being, social inclusion, and participation of its inhabitants, in addition to the sustainability of the environment. This work analyzes the main rankings that measure the conditions of cities and classifies them as to the position between smart cities, aiming at improvement proposals for the city of São Luís, facing the reality of these cities, seeking quality of life, sustainability, and respect for the environment. The city of Curitiba is used as a national reference, considered first in 2018 in the Connected Smart Cities Ranking, while São Luís was not among the analyzed positions. An intervention plan is proposed to make São Luís more competitive in terms of urban mobility, environment, health, technology and innovation, and security.Item Proposta de uma Metodologia para a Otimização do Controle de Estoque de uma Empresa do Segmento Eletrônico(Instituto de Tecnologia, 2020) OLIVEIRA, David Felipe Santos; LEITE, Jandecy CabralInventory control management is considered a fundamental tool for the management of a company, as it allows processes to be managed efficiently with fewer resources and more savings. The present study aims to: identify and model the inventory control processes that already exist in the company, analyze the inventory that already exists in the company, describe the methodology for inventory control, and propose actions of the methodology that allow the corrections of inventory activities already identified. Therefore, it proposes a methodology for optimizing stock control that is able to define how much and when to buy the products. The implementation of the methodology produced a decrease of 30% in the problems of non-attendance, resulting in positive factors such as lean inventory, efficient customer service, increased capital turnover, and increased company profits.Item METODOLOGIA DE ATERRAMENTO EM LINHA DE TRANSMISSÃO EM CORRENTE ALTERNADA 550 kV NA AMAZÔNIA – UM ESTUDO DE CASO(Instituto de Tecnologia, 2021) CARVALHO, Franklin Barbosa; NASCIMENTO, Manoel Henrique ReisLightning strikes are of great importance for the electricity sector, frequently responsible for disconnections of transmission lines, which can trigger a sequence of events that may lead to the collapse of the interconnected electrical system. The objective of this work is to propose a new methodology to correct the grounding resistances of the LT Oriximiná/Silves CD 550kV electric power transmission line in the Amazon, aiming to reduce the occurrences of shutdowns caused by disruptive return discharges (backflashover) and mitigate the damages to the electrical system. Considering implementation cost factors, environmental technical feasibility, and the applicability of the solution to other line structures, it was concluded that the most adequate approach for a more robust grounding solution in the transmission line towers was the "solution 03," tested on tower 585, achieving a 66.98% reduction.
