SISTEMA FOTOVOLTAICO NO AEROPORTO INTERNACIONAL DE MANAUS: Análise da Viabilidade Técnica, Econômica e Ambiental de Implantação Usando Simulação Computacional
(Instituto de Tecnologia, 2018) Carlos Gomes Fontinelle; LEITE, Jandecy Cabral
The dissertation analyzes the technical, economic and environmental feasibility of implementing a photovoltaic system at the Manaus International Airport, using computer simulation. The study considers factors such as solar incidence, installation costs, financial return and environmental impacts, demonstrating the potential of solar energy to reduce operating costs and greenhouse gas emissions. The results indicate that the adoption of photovoltaic technology is a sustainable and economically viable alternative for the airport's energy matrix, contributing to energy efficiency and environmental preservation.

Sistema Fotovoltaico de Bombeamento Baseado em Conversores de Frequência e Bombas Centrífugas Comerciais Utilizando Controle Fuzzy Externo com Tensão Fixa
(Instituto de Tecnologia, 2016) SANTOS, Wanderley Sena dos; MACÊDO, Wilson Negrão
This work proposes the development and implementation of a fuzzy logic-based controller capable of maintaining stable the voltage level at the DC bus of a commercial variable-speed drive (VSD) used to couple photovoltaic generators to commercial centrifugal motor pumps for water pumping purposes. The system operates in closed loop, and the DC bus voltage regulation is made indirectly through the variation of the motor pump speed according to the power available from the photovoltaic generator. The goal is to maximize efficiency and prevent system disarming by under-voltage errors in the intermediate circuit of the VSD. The control algorithm was embedded in a PIC microcontroller and experimentally evaluated, showing expected behavior even under drastic changes in power availability.

Análise do Desempenho de uma Unidade de Condicionamento de Ar Suprida por Geração Fotovoltaica
(Instituto de Tecnologia, 2018) SANTOS, Elson Costa dos; MACÊDO, Wilson Negrão
The use of electric energy for ambient air conditioning is one of the great challenges in the search for alternatives for the supply of energy in large consumption centers. The various regions of the world, such as the equatorial ones, are among those that demand a great amount of electrical energy to feed a state of greater importance. The work was a model of air conditioning suprised by photovoltaic generation, with the unit of conditioning of photovoltaic air (UCAFV). The proposed system was investigated using data of ambient temperature and irradiance for two days of the city of Belém, located in the state of Para - Brazil, a locality with climatic characteristics very similar to numerous regions near the equator.

Uso de Energia Solar como Alternativa Energética em Unidade de Controle de Tráfego Aéreo de Tiriós - PA
(Instituto de Tecnologia da Universidade Federal do Pará, 2016) BRAZ, José Emanuel do Vale; BRAGA, Eduardo Magalhães
The technical relevance of this study generates economic, technical, and efficiency results regarding the use of solar energy in regions with a deficiency of stabilized energy sources. The research aims to assess the feasibility of using a hybrid (Solar/Thermal) energy system in the Airspace Control Unit of Tiriós - PA, to reduce operational costs, minimize environmental impacts, and ensure high levels of operational efficiency. The specific objectives include assessing the photovoltaic energy potential and its hybrid application (solar/diesel), evaluating annual costs with thermal energy, and proposing the hybrid system's implementation in other operational units of CINDACTA IV. This study may establish a new paradigm in Brazil’s energy sector and contribute to national energy security.
