    Manutenção como Atividade de Gestão e Estratégia: Um Estudo na Empresa "Alfa" do Polo Industrial de Manaus

    This study addresses the maintenance activity as management and strategy for companies. The maintenance sector aims to keep assets in working condition, ensuring they can fulfill their production cycle with reliability and reasonable costs. Maintenance is increasingly being viewed as a strategic function within organizations, not just for fixing problems but as a strategic approach to managing assets throughout their lifecycle. The general objective of this study is to present the tools of maintenance management that can contribute to the efficiency of production processes strategically, improving the availability, reliability, and productivity of equipment efficiently. The methodology used for this research was a qualitative case study, focusing on the inspection of PAL-07 Equipment, which led to the implementation of a lubrication plan for all manufacturing equipment. It can be concluded that maintenance activity is of great importance for organizations, and maintenance tools are essential in any production process.

    Análise dos Equipamentos Prioritários para o Processo de Requalificação de Botijas de Empresa Industrial sob a Ótica da Manutenção Produtiva Total

    The current study seeks to analyze and demonstrate the importance of maintenance in a holistic way in a company of the Industrial Pole of Manaus, highlighting maintenance as a relevant factor for economy, efficiency, and effectiveness in meeting productivity goals. The work conducts a detailed survey of the main problems that occur in the industrial environment and verifies their frequency through indicator software. The case study was carried out in a cooking gas bottling company, focusing on the maintenance system and the choices adopted to solve its needs. The research uses the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) methodology to evaluate hourly losses and productivity, proposing solutions to improve the efficiency of the maintenance sector.
