Item Navegabilidade do Rio Solimões no trecho compreendido entre Manaus-Coari(Instituto de Ciências Exatas e Naturais, 2017) SANTOS, Carlos Alberto dos; ALVES, Cláudio NahumThe study evaluates the navigability of the Solimões River in the stretch between Manaus and Coari, highlighting critical factors influencing fluvial transport, such as sandbanks, landslides, and seasonal flow variations. Based on field surveys and geographic analyses, the research identifies three critical navigation points and describes the types of vessels operating in the region. The results contribute to understanding the challenges of waterway transport in the Amazon, especially during low-water periods.Item ANÁLISE AMBIENTAL DA LOGÍSTICA FLUVIAL DE DERIVADOS DE PETRÓLEO NO TRECHO MANAUS - PORTO VELHO(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2017) COSTA, Neymara Silva; Prof. Dr. Ricardo Amorim de DeusThe adoption of preventive measures in the management of river transport logistics prevents significant environmental impacts, considering that the transport of petroleum derivatives can harm the environment. The Madeira River, an essential waterway in the Amazon basin, plays a strategic role in the transport of petroleum derivatives by tank barge (BT). The study analyzes the environmental impacts of this activity on the Manaus-Porto Velho stretch, considering factors such as seasonal variations and the need for adequate infrastructure. In addition, it presents data from regulatory agencies and relevant legislation and proposes guidelines to improve river logistics, aiming at the sustainability and development of the waterway.Item ANÁLISE AMBIENTAL DA LOGÍSTICA FLUVIAL DE DERIVADOS DE PETRÓLEO NO TRECHO MANAUS - PORTO VELHO(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2017) COSTA, Neymara Silva; Prof. Dr. Ricardo Amorim de DeusThe adoption of preventive measures in the management of river transport logistics prevents significant environmental impacts, considering that the transport of petroleum derivatives can harm the environment.
