Item Adequação de Tempos e Métodos em Montagem de Componente para Motocicletas(Instituto de Tecnologia, 2018) YOSHIDA, Thiago Hideki; LEITE, Jandecy CabralThis study proposes actions for the adjustment of times and methods in the assembly line of motorcycle components in an automotive company, using the Lean Production System and the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) tool. The research demonstrated that the correct application of these methodologies resulted in a 35.3% improvement in process efficiency, in addition to increasing knowledge and application of Lean within the organization. The work highlights the importance of waste elimination and resource optimization for business competitiveness in challenging economic scenarios.Item Implementação de Manutenção Produtiva Total: Estudo de Caso em Linha de Produção do Polo Industrial do Amazonas (PIM)(Instituto de Tecnologia, 2017) ARCANJO, Martha Viviane de Lima; OLIVEIRA, KleberThe study addresses the implementation of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) methodology in a liquid insecticide production line at the Manaus Industrial Pole (PIM), focusing on improving operational efficiency and reducing losses. The work demonstrates the benefits of TPM, such as increased Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), reduced breakdowns, and process optimization through autonomous maintenance. The results showed significant gains, including an increase in OEE from 44% to 85%, operational sustainability, and a reduction in unplanned stops.Item APLICAÇÃO DE FERRAMENTAS DO LEAN MANUFACTURING EM UM PROCESSO DE SMT: ESTUDO DE CASO(Instituto de Tecnologia, 2015) UHLMANN, Iracyanne Retto; LEITE, Jandecy Cabral; SOUZA, José Antonio da SilvaMany organizations have looked for increasing their competitiveness by reducing costs. One of the most used strategies nowadays to reduce waste in production processes and consequently increase added value is the Lean Production System (LPS) application, also known as lean manufacturing. The objective of this study is to show the benefits of some lean tools applications in a Surface Mount Technology (SMT) process in an electro-electronic industry at Manaus Industrial Pole (PIM). The case study methodology was used, oriented by the Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control (DMAIC) tool. After performing the lean events, the main result was achieved: an increase in the lean maturity index in the process, from 25.20% (stone phase) to 81.80% (gold phase).
