This paper analyzes the application of the Basic Production Process (BPP) rules, focusing on the Control of Points and Parts (CPPs) in the industrialized motorcycle sector in Brazil. The BPP is a minimum set of manufacturing operations required by the Brazilian government for industrialized products to benefit from tax incentives, especially in the Manaus Free Trade Zone. The case study examines how these rules affect the motorcycle production process, highlighting the challenges faced by companies in their implementation, the impacts on the production chain and the importance of the CPPs as an instrument for monitoring and controlling compliance with the production stages. The research shows that the correct application of the BPP and CPP rules is essential to guarantee tax benefits and stimulate regional industrial development, while promoting companies' competitiveness and legal compliance.

Estudo do Método de Inspeção Visual e Automática do Número de Identificação Veicular de Chassis de Motocicletas
(Instituto de Tecnologia, 2019) DIAS, Fabian Carvalho; LEITE, Jandecy Cabral
The inspection method employed in validating the chassis number after it has been recorded does not always meet the quality requirements required by the market. In the evaluated process, the inspection is performed manually, where an operator makes the visual conference, submitting to a large automotive industry plant located in the Manaus Industrial Pole (PIM) market leader in the two-wheel market the risk of selling a motorcycle with registration different from the documentation. Thus, this work develops an automatic inspection system, applied to the quality control of the vehicle identification number of motorcycles. And with this it was possible to evaluate its reliability of the data generated in order to provide resolution to the recording problems. Given the implementation of the development process of this project it was possible to clearly observe and identify problems resulting from the printing of the motorcycle VIN engraving. Regarding the detection of the proposed method with the human inspection method, it can be said that the results achieved are superior, evidencing the robustness of the automatic inspection system, since it was possible to identify very accurately all the defects. In addition, hit rates are higher than those obtained by human operators. Thus, the obtained results allowed a significant improvement in the total production time of the model, as it was possible to reduce 80% of the time spent to perform the inspection activity and to reduce the internal defect rates. The inspection method employed in validating the chassis number after it has been recorded does not always meet the quality requirements required by the market. Controle de Qualidade através de Ensaios Não Destrutivos por Líquidos Penetrantes em Peças Componentes de Motocicletas Soldadas Novas e Usadas
(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2014) PAIS FILHO, Estevam Ferreira; FUJIYAMA, Roberto Tetsuo
Nondestructive Testing (NDT) by Liquid Penetrant (LP) is an important tool for quality control of materials, widely used in industry. This work aimed to study the behavior of NDT by LP applied to quality control in component parts of motorcycles, welded new and used. The study was developed in four companies of the automotive two-wheeler segment in Latin America. After a literature review, comparative tests were performed on new and used parts, identifying factors that influence the results. It was concluded that used parts may present surface changes and retention of contaminants, requiring greater care in the cleaning and removal of the penetrant liquid. The probability of false indications increases in welded used parts, suggesting a differentiated approach for these cases.

ANÁLISE DA CAPACIDADE PRODUTIVA EM UMA MONTADORA DE MOTOCICLETAS UTILIZANDO SIMULAÇÃO COMPUTACIONAL
(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2018) LEITE JUNIOR, Jandecy Cabral; QUARESMA, João Nazareno Nonato
Before the current market scenario, manufacturing and services companies need increasingly invest in tools or technologies that provide cost savings and increase in gross revenue to remain competitive. The analysis of productive capacity through computer simulation and industrial performance indicators allows you to optimize existing processes and consequently the costs. This paper aims to carry out a computer simulation of the production capacity in a motorcycle manufacturer, using the software (Tecnomatix Plant Simulation), to calculate process performance indicators, and to propose improvements with the purpose of obtaining an increase in installed production capacity. The methodology used in this research is based on discrete-event simulation, generating capacity gauge, crossing time and balancing chart to evaluate the performance of the assembly of motorcycles. The indicators of efficiency and productivity were calculated for specific formulas for an analysis of the process. The results achieved after the improvements implemented in the production provided an increase in productive capacity in 25% and an increase in the levels of efficiency and productivity of 4.4 percent and 2.74 percent respectively. It can be concluded that this work has resulted in a reduction of costs and increase of gross revenue without the need of high investments.
