Item Reutilização de resíduos sólidos dos canteiros de obra da construção civil(INSTITUTO DE TECNOLOGIA, 2015) MOREIRA, Luciano Alves; FREENZI, Norbert; MAGALHÃES, Edilson MarquesThe article addresses the uncontrolled growth of solid waste generation in the construction sector, highlighting the environmental and socioeconomic impacts of improper disposal. It proposes the reuse and recycling of these wastes as measures to reduce pollution and promote sustainability in the industry. The study emphasizes the importance of integrated waste management, including source reduction, selective collection, and the inclusion of waste pickers, while presenting examples of sustainable practices that can be adopted on construction sites. The results demonstrate that adopting these measures brings economic, environmental, and social benefits, contributing to more sustainable development.Item Avaliação da Primeira Etapa do PROSAMIM às Margens do Igarapé Mestre Chico(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2015) OLIVEIRA, Andréa Cristina Fernandes de; OLIVEIRA, Dênio Ramam Carvalho deThis work aims to show the problem of housing and environmental impact by making an analysis of the Social and Environmental Program of streams of Manaus (PROSAMIM) as housing solution. The core of this research was the basin of Educandos, specifically the stream of the Mestre Chico, located in the around of the southern zone, because this stream one of the most important in the composition of the river system and one of the most inhabited. The materials and methods used were the bibliographical and field research, within 10 months (February to November / 2014), and analysis of the program through research instruments (questionnaire). In the field survey, there was the participation of 100 families, a total of 938 residents. In the investigation, it was found problems, such as social exclusion, violence, noise, lack of drainage, among others. Regarding the results the survey found that urbanization through revitalization of community space promoted urban sanitation and cleaning and rational use of land use to stream margins, improving the community's life quality.Item Análise da Destinação dos Resíduos Sólidos Produzidos Numa Escola Pública da Cidade de Manaus(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2019) SOUZA, Marcos Antonio Rodrigues de; Prof. Dr. Davi do Socorro Barros Brasil; Me. Tereza Rodrigues Felipe CabralChanges in teaching and learning activities in public schools, combined with consumerism generated by capitalism, have turned school units into spaces conducive to solid waste generation, causing environmental problems. This research aimed to promote the proper environmental disposal of waste generated in a public school in Manaus, encouraging reduction, reuse, and recycling. The adopted methodology was a descriptive and exploratory action research with a qualitative and quantitative approach.
