    Implementação de Medidas e Uso de um Software Supervisório na Eficiência Energética de um Sistema de Refrigeração Industrial

    This paper aims to present the results of implementing a set of energy efficiency measures, supported by a supervisory software, in an industrial refrigeration system installed in a dairy factory. The study involved the collection and analysis of electric energy consumption data, equipment operation, and identification of improvement opportunities. With the implementation of actions such as evaporation temperature control, optimization of compressor operation, and the introduction of maintenance routines, a significant reduction in energy consumption and improvement in system reliability was observed. The results demonstrate the potential for energy and operational gains through the use of automation and supervision technologies in industrial processes.

    Captação, Armazenamento e Utilização de Águas Pluviais com o Mínimo de Interferência Manual: Estudo de Caso em um Instituto Federal

    The study proposes an automated system for capturing, storing, and utilizing rainwater at the Federal Institute of Education, Science, and Technology of Amazonas (IFAM) – Manaus Industrial District Campus, aiming to reduce potable water consumption. The system uses photovoltaic panels to power sensors and actuators, ensuring autonomous operation. The reservoir was sized based on historical rainfall data, and preliminary results include the installation of reservoirs and process automation. The captured water is intended for non-potable uses, such as toilet flushing and cleaning, contributing to environmental and economic sustainability.

    O Efeito da Semi Automatização do Processo de Soldagem MIG sobre Aspectos Ergonômicos e de Produtividade

    The study evaluates the influence of the semi-automation of a rotating workbench in the MIG welding process, focusing on ergonomic and productivity aspects in a metallurgical industry of the Manaus Industrial Pole. The research shows that the implementation of semi-automation led to significant improvements in operators' quality of life, a reduction in musculoskeletal-related absences, and a 63% increase in daily productivity. The work combines qualitative and quantitative analysis, using field methods and literature review.

    This paper analyzes the problem of balancing assembly lines within a company in the Manaus Industrial Park (PIM). It uses linear programming to optimize the distribution of tasks on the assembly line and reduce cycle time. In addition, it applies a discrete event simulation tool to evaluate the proposed improvement before its implementation.

    Sistema Fuzzy para Automação do Balizamento Luminoso de Pista de Pouso e Decolagem para Aeroportos

    This work presents a proposal for the automation of runway edge lighting for airport landing and takeoff using Fuzzy logic. The aim is to reduce the workload of air traffic controllers, minimizing the possibility of human errors during critical moments of landing and takeoff. The proposed system uses runway visibility and cloud ceiling data, collected by equipment such as the Visibilometer and the Tetometer, to adjust the light intensity of the runway edge lighting. Simulations performed in MATLAB with real data demonstrated the feasibility of the proposal, with results comparable to decisions made by human operators.

    A Utilização da Automação como Solução dos Problemas Ergonômicos em Prensas Hidráulicas de Estampagem de Peças Metálicas

    This article presents a study on the use of automation in a metal parts factory that uses hydraulic presses for stamping. The goal is to reduce the number of operator absences due to occupational diseases, such as RSI/WMSD, caused by repetitive efforts and inadequate postures. Automation was implemented to improve the ergonomic conditions of workstations and increase production. The study shows that automation reduces costs related to absences and increases production efficiency.

    Otimização do Teste de Vazamento em Unidades Evaporadoras no Processo de Produção de Condicionadores de Ar

    The manufacture of air conditioners requires detailed inspections due to the risk of refrigerant fluid leakage, which can cause environmental damage and product losses. This work proposes the optimization of the leakage test in evaporating units through automation, aiming to reduce nitrogen consumption, improve operator ergonomics, and increase productivity. The developed automated system allows precise gas control, cost reduction, and process time standardization, contributing to the quality of the final product.

    Lógica Fuzzy Aplicada nas Medidas de Apoio à Tomada de Decisões do Sistema de Gerenciamento de Produção de Embalagens Plásticas

    Currently, automation through decision support systems plays a fundamental role in the productive chain, from small to large companies. The present study proposes a fuzzy inference model, in the support in the decision measures of the production management system of a plastic packaging factory. Analyzing the distinctions of forceful form of each step that end up influencing in the process, and aiming to adapt to the requests of the clients. Using as principle for the proposed system the adequacy of shifts using the maximum output that the factory has. MatLab software was used to treat the data, thus adjusting the variables, which were selected due to their degree of influence in the cycle because they are variables that determine the order of the product's manufacturing, they are: delivery period, quantity required, process production and the number of shifts that will be required to produce a given product, observing with the use of this tool an improvement in the management of shifts, which reduced unnecessary costs and a good understanding in the production cycle in relation to the characteristics of the orders.

    Desenvolvimento de um Workflow para Teste de Qualidade de TV" Subtítulo: "Automação do Processo de Inspeção Interna do Comprador (IBI)

    This study proposes the development of a Workflow to automate the quality testing process of televisions (TV) within the scope of the Internal Buyer Inspection (IBI). The aim is to reduce the effort of the testing team and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of quality tests. The Workflow was implemented at a prototype level, integrating an information system, a data collector, and a control unit. The results demonstrated the feasibility of automating the tests, with the execution of 2,400 tests in 11 hours and 40 minutes, in addition to 8,404 power readings. The system also generated traceability reports and monitoring graphs, contributing to the standardization and improvement of the quality process.

    This dissertation aims to implement the monitoring of evaporator unit tests and integrate them with the MES system, focusing on process improvement with an emphasis on quality. The study proposes the automation of the product performance test, conducted during the assembly process at the "Run Test" station. Previously, the test was performed manually, which did not guarantee that 100% of the products were tested, resulting in issues identified only by the end consumer. With the implementation of the automated system, it was possible to increase productivity, improve product quality, and ensure the safety of employees during all assembly stages.
