    Harmonic Impact analysis coming from the manufacturing processes of a Eletroeletrônica Industry Using KDD and Decision Trees

    The study analyzes the impact of harmonic distortions generated by non-linear loads (computers, notebooks, and tablets) on the electrical grid of an electronics industry in Manaus. Using the KDD (Knowledge Discovery in Databases) methodology and decision trees, data were collected over a week at different points in the production process. The results identified that the 5th and 7th order harmonics, originating from the tablet production line, contributed the most to the total harmonic distortion of voltage (THDv) at the common coupling point (PCC). The decision tree technique proved effective in classifying and prioritizing distortion sources, aiding in decision-making for impact mitigation.

    This study analyzes the impacts of current harmonics on the electrical grid of an electronics industry in the Manaus Industrial Park, focusing on the manufacturing of computers, notebooks, and tablets. Using power quality analyzers and decision tree techniques, the work quantifies the total harmonic distortion (THD) and identifies the most impactful harmonics, such as the 5th and 7th orders, generated by non-linear loads. The results demonstrate the effectiveness of the applied methodology to anticipate future regulations and improve energy quality.

    Análise de Impactos Harmônicos em Rede de Média Tensão Utilizando Redes Neurais

    A methodology is presented to assess the impact caused by the generation of harmonics on a bus of interest in a medium voltage substation, using artificial neural networks (ANN). The objective is to conduct measurement campaigns to collect data from the electrical system, demonstrate a study on the quality of electrical energy, considering the recommendations of IEC 61000-3-6, IEEE Std. 519-2014, EN 50160-2004, and PRODIST (module 8, 2017), and propose the development of an algorithm capable of evaluating measurements using the ANN technique. The technique used allowed the construction of a model and the validation of the results obtained, demonstrating the effectiveness of applying neural networks in the analysis of harmonic impacts in electrical distribution systems.
