Item GESTÃO DE RESÍDUOS SÓLIDOS GERADOS DA CONSTRUÇÃO CIVIL(INSTITUTO DE TECNOLOGIA, 2014) MOREIRA, Luciano Alves; FREENZI, Norbert; MAGALHÃES, Edilson MarquesIn Brazil, the construction industry is regarded as one of the most significant contributors to economic and social development, yet it also generates considerable environmental impacts. The sector faces the challenge of reconciling productivity with sustainability. Population growth and increased consumption have led to greater waste generation, with estimates indicating that each person produces about 1 kg of waste per day. This article discusses the environmental impacts and challenges of managing construction waste, suggesting sustainable practices as a way to reduce environmental harm.Item REUTILIZAÇÃO DE RESÍDUOS SÓLIDOS DOS CANTEIROS DE OBRA DA CONSTRUÇÃO CIVIL(INSTITUTO DE TECNOLOGIA, 2014) MOREIRA, Luciano Alves; FREENZI, NorbertThe disordered population growth and high demographic densities in urban centers, combined with economic development, contribute to the increase in solid waste generation in civil construction. Recycling and reusing these waste materials bring economic, social, and environmental benefits, emphasizing the need for sustainable management and efficient public policies.Item O Uso do Projeto de Produção como Elemento Facilitador para a Redução de Custos no Subsistema de Alvenaria de Vedações(Instituto de Tecnologia, 2017) LIMA, Francisco Lúcio Pinto de; MACÊDO, Emanuel NegrãoThe study examines the use of the Production Project in the sealing masonry subsystem of vertical buildings, aiming to reduce costs and improve quality. The research shows that adopting this project can reduce costs by up to 25%, optimize execution time, minimize material waste, standardize processes, and increase productivity.Item Análise da Eficiência dos Protetores Auditivos Utilizados na Indústria da Construção Civil na Cidade de Manaus(Instituto de Tecnologia, 2019) AMORIM, Francisco Carlos Tavares; CUNHA, Edinaldo José de SousaThe construction industry provides occupational hazards to workers at construction sites. Despite the mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE), noise is one of the occupational hazards that persist as one of the most damaging to workers. This work aims to analyze the efficiency of hearing protectors, taking into account the octave band spectrum at the sound pressure levels of the main equipment used in the civil construction sector in the city of Manaus.Item Análise da Eficiência dos Protetores Auditivos Utilizados na Indústria da Construção Civil na Cidade de Manaus(Instituto de Tecnologia, 2019) AMORIM, Francisco Carlos Tavares; CUNHA, Edinaldo José de SousaThe construction industry provides occupational hazards to workers at construction sites. The objective was to identify the main factors influencing concrete quality, evaluate the use of safety equipment, verify technological control, and analyze the productivity and financial costs of different methods. The research was conducted through interviews with professionals in the field and technical visits to construction sites. The results indicated that concrete produced in mixers is the most used in Santarém, especially for small structures, while ready-mix concrete is preferred for large quantities and heights. The quality of the concrete was affected by factors such as poor aggregate quality, excess water, and lack of technological control. The study concludes that ready-mix concrete is the most recommended due to its productivity and technological control, although there are still challenges to be overcome.Item Desafios e Oportunidades do Reuso dos Resíduos da Construção Civil(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2014) MOREIRA, Luciano Alves; FENZL, NobertIn Brazil, the construction industry is considered one of the most important activities for economic and social development, but it is also a major generator of environmental impacts, either through the consumption of natural resources, landscape modification, or waste generation. The work presented here aims to verify the feasibility of a solid waste management plan, where the literature review provides a base of information on environmental issues in the construction of buildings, focusing on relevant aspects such as environmental management, the life cycle of buildings, Construction and Demolition Waste (CDW) in the urban environment, and relevant legislation.Item Alvenaria de Vedação Constituída de Tijolo Cerâmico e Placas de Gesso Acartonado(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2015) RÊGO, Luiz Antonio da Silva; Prof. Dr. Bernardo Borges Pompeu NetoThe study compares two vertical closing construction systems – ceramic masonry and gypsum plasterboard (drywall) – used in the city of Santarém. It analyzes aspects such as maintenance, flexibility, cost, productivity, weight, thermal insulation, and acoustic insulationItem Reciclagem de Garrafas PET para Utilização em Sistema de Telhas Sustentável(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2014) FELIPE, Tereza Rodrigues; ROCHA, Gilberto de MirandaThe study focuses on the recycling of PET bottles for the production of sustainable roofing tiles, aiming to reduce the environmental impact caused by improper disposal of these residues. The research was conducted at Inova da Amazônia S/A, located in Manaus, and demonstrates the environmental, economic, and social benefits of using eco-friendly tiles made from recycled PET. The study also discusses the application of environmental management in the company, the improvement of product quality, and the possibility of generating direct and indirect jobs.
