    O Efeito da Semi Automatização do Processo de Soldagem MIG sobre Aspectos Ergonômicos e de Produtividade

    The study evaluates the influence of the semi-automation of a rotating workbench in the MIG welding process, focusing on ergonomic and productivity aspects in a metallurgical industry of the Manaus Industrial Pole. The research shows that the implementation of semi-automation led to significant improvements in operators' quality of life, a reduction in musculoskeletal-related absences, and a 63% increase in daily productivity. The work combines qualitative and quantitative analysis, using field methods and literature review.

    The study examines ergonomic risks in computerized workstations in the administrative sector of a lubricant distributor in Manaus-AM. Tools such as RULA and Sue Rodgers were applied to assess postures and identify musculoskeletal injuries. The results highlighted the need for adjustments in furniture, inclusion of breaks, and workplace exercises to reduce negative health impacts on workers.

    A Utilização da Automação como Solução dos Problemas Ergonômicos em Prensas Hidráulicas de Estampagem de Peças Metálicas

    This article presents a study on the use of automation in a metal parts factory that uses hydraulic presses for stamping. The goal is to reduce the number of operator absences due to occupational diseases, such as RSI/WMSD, caused by repetitive efforts and inadequate postures. Automation was implemented to improve the ergonomic conditions of workstations and increase production. The study shows that automation reduces costs related to absences and increases production efficiency.

    The major industry sector in Manaus is represented by electro-electronic industries, but only a part of them has a suitable ergonomically workplace. In the case of metallurgic industries, their working conditions are not suitable due to a series of factors, such as exposure to high temperatures, which cannot be cooled, creating adverse conditions like thermal shock and fatigue. This paper's general goal is to describe the importance of preserving workers' mental and physical health in the workplace through ergonomics. The study presents improvement suggestions and advice that may contribute to solving ergonomic problems related to workers' health.

    Análise ergonômica de um posto de trabalho numa linha de produção utilizando o método NIOSH – um estudo de caso no Polo Industrial de Manaus

    This article is aimed at making an ergonomic analysis of the job on an assembly line of the compressor based on real data production, using the method of NIOSH. Through research, analysis, and reporting procedures, it became possible to examine suggestions for reducing the problem that was addressed in this study. The main objective is to analyze the situation of the ergonomic product line focusing on the biomechanics of the work. The reason is because of the large outflow of workers due to health problems related to ergonomics, as one of the main problems they face is with handling and moving heavy loads, is the back pain, drifting in acute and chronic problems. The results allowed to draw conclusions that should have health care worker in the manufacturing environment and whose recommendation led to the elucidation of some biomechanical problems found.

The objective was to identify and analyze situations that pose risks to workers' health, suggesting changes to minimize the negative impacts of computerized work. Questionnaires and assessment tools such as RULA and Sue Rodgers were applied to diagnose possible musculoskeletal injuries. The results indicated the need for modifications in the work environment, inclusion of breaks, and labor gymnastics to reduce labor complaints.

    O Uso do Design Visando o Redirecionamento de Mobiliário para Pequenos Espaços: Avaliação de Resistência Mecânica

    With the rapid advancement of technology and the expansion of large cities, urban spaces are becoming smaller, requiring furniture that adapts to these new realities. This paper presents the development of a modular chair, using design methods and industrial processes, focusing on ergonomic, semiotic, and mechanical resistance aspects. The chair was designed to be dynamic, easy to handle, and made with durable materials, allowing its use for various purposes and users. Tests conducted with ANSYS software and analytical calculations via FORTRAN showed minimal differences between the results, with seat stress of 0.9391 MPa (numerical calculation) and 0.9158 MPa (analytical calculation), and maximum vertical displacement of 0.62 mm and 0.48 mm, respectively.
