MEDIÇÃO DA INTEROPERABILIDADE LOGÍSTICA COM USO DO MODELO DE EQUAÇÕES ESTRUTURAIS
(Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, 2017) SANTIAGO, Sandro Breval; RODRIGUEZ, Carlos Manoel Taboada
The logistic interoperability (IOL) measurement model can contribute to improving operations, responsiveness, and costs of organizations in terms of logistics operations. The main objective of this thesis is to contribute to the development of a measurement model of the degree of logistic interoperability, as well as to the theoretical creation and support of the concept of logistic interoperability. Based on the established research method, a portfolio was built serving as a basis for the elaboration of the conceptual model, discussed and legitimized with logistics specialists from the Manaus Industrial Hub (PIM). The conceptual model included the following exogenous latent variables: strategy, inbound logistics, outbound logistics, and internal logistics, along with the endogenous variable: IOL itself. Thirteen indicators and 76 observable variables were constructed. Structural equation modeling (SEM) was applied with the partial least squares technique (PLS-PM) using SmartPLS® software. The results demonstrated the adherence of the proposed model, with convergent and discriminant validity, consistency, and reliability, with effective application in an industrial company of the PIM.

(INSTITUTO DE TECNOLOGIA, 2010) OLIVEIRA, Macêdo Santos de; SILVA, José Antônio S.; LOPES, Antônio Dimael de Almeida; MONTEIRO, Alberto de Castro; DELON, José Alain; Prof Dr. Walter Barra Junior
"This ongoing research involves a study using various types of nationally produced polyethylene (PE) films with different thicknesses to be applied as air cushions for protective padding in electronic product packaging. The aim is to replace the commonly used expanded polystyrene (EPS) padding with inflatable PE padding, which offers advantages such as lower cost, efficiency, low manufacturing cost, excellent mechanical performance, and full recyclability. The study compares the two types of padding in terms of logistics, storage, cost, and production efficiency."

AVALIAÇÃO DOS SISTEMAS LOGÍSTICOS PARA ADEQUAÇÃO DE WIP NAS INDÚSTRIAS DE ELETRO-ELETRÔNICOS DO POLO INDUSTRIAL DE MANAUS
(Instituto de Tecnologia, 2010) VILHENA, Fábio André de Farias; SOARES, José Josimar; BATISTA, Clauderino da Silva
This work studied a method of economic viability between transport modes for electro-electronic inputs between Asia and Manaus, aiming to choose the best alternative based on cargo weight and unit value, seeking to improve the competitiveness of companies in the Manaus Industrial Pole (PIM). Transport times, costs, intermodal and multimodal interactions were analyzed using indicators such as Future Liquid Value (VFL) and Efficiency/Cost (E/C). It was concluded that the maritime mode is more viable for cargo with values below 50R$, while high-value cargo requires specific analysis between air, multimodal, and maritime modes.

Aplicação de uma Metodologia de Lógica Fuzzy à Gestão de Estoques: Um Estudo de Caso em uma Instituição Pública
(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2011) SANTOS, Gilbert Queiroz dos; BARRA JUNIOR, Walter
This paper presents a proposal for implementing a fuzzy logic approach to inventory management of a public institution of the federal administration, located in Manaus-AM. Initially, a review of the literature on logistics and supply management is conducted. They are then discussed issues relating to inventory management. After that, we discuss issues related to the fuzzy logic. The proposed methodology will allow a better control over inventory, since it will replace traditional quantitative methods of inventory management. The data were collected directly from the warehouse of the institution under study, and refer to the movement of stock of a particular item during the year 2009. The use of fuzzy logic has attracted increasingly more attention from researchers in different areas of knowledge, being, however, that the great challenge posed to them is the modeling of the data collected, due to its computational support needed application. The interaction with the observed values, operated by the rules of fuzzy logic allows a better control of stock in a warehouse, such as service, parts and tender, since it deals with uncertainty and subjectivity. The methodology appears to be able to indicate a better performance of the quoted shares, being able to operate on an automated tracking and inventory management.
