Item Reaproveitamento de resíduos de gesso como contribuição da construção ecológica na cidade de Manaus/AM(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2024) MORAES, Rosalina Siqueira; ALENCAR, David Barbosa dePopulation growth and industrial and urban development have contributed to the increase in waste generation, including gypsum. Gypsum is obtained by heating the raw material, gypsum, to approximately 140°C to 160°C, followed by grinding. The speed at which the reaction occurs results in a large amount of material being wasted. Following a modification of CONAMA Resolution No. 307, gypsum became category B, waste that can be recycled or reused, making gypsum waste recycling mandatory and viable. Due to few tax incentives and the high cost involved, construction waste often ends up being deposited in inappropriate locations. This study aims to diagnose the generation of gypsum waste in construction companies in the city of Manaus, evaluate the technical characteristics of recycled gypsum produced on a pilot scale, and propose a new applicability for the ecological construction production chain. The results indicated that recycled gypsum exhibited technical properties comparable to conventional gypsum, reinforcing the feasibility of its reuse in civil construction.Item Aplicação da teoria dos jogos na otimização de processos para redução do tempo construtivo de habitações populares(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2024) SOUZA, Silvia Cristina Matos de; ALENCAR, David Barbosa deThis work aims to apply a model of game theory in the optimization of processes to reduce the construction time of popular housing, demonstrating the management process of the agents involved in the construction context, optimizing collaboration and efficiency. The housing deficit and inadequate living conditions of low-income populations are problems exacerbated by unplanned population growth and lack of urban infrastructure, impacting quality of life. The research developed a model based on game theory to optimize construction processes, allowing the definition of cooperative and non-cooperative strategies among the agents involved. The methodology used was descriptive research with a quantitative approach, applying game models for simulation and decision-making analysis in the civil construction sector. The results proved that the application of game theory helps reduce the construction time of popular housing by encouraging cooperation among stakeholders, making the process more efficient and reducing waste. It is concluded that resource rationalization and the application of strategic incentives can transform competitive situations into opportunities for cooperation, promoting efficiency in the construction sector.Item Aplicação da teoria dos jogos na otimização de processos para redução do tempo construtivo de habitações populares(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2024) SOUZA, Silvia Cristina Matos de; LEITE, Jandecy CabralThis work proposes the application of Game Theory to optimize processes and reduce the construction time of affordable housing. Given the growing housing deficit and the poor living conditions for low-income populations, the study aims to improve collaboration and efficiency in the construction sector. The methodology involved the development of a theoretical model for the sector, focusing on reducing delays and costs, as well as rationalizing decision-making in the construction process. The research, which is descriptive and quantitative in nature, aims to show how Game Theory can be a useful tool for decision-making, contributing to the reduction of construction time through cooperation among the agents involved. The developed model suggests that the application of incentives can transform competition into cooperation, resulting in a significant reduction in total construction time.Item Educação e Sustentabilidade no Currículo do Curso Técnico em Edificações: Implementação e Desafios(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2023) SILVA, Eicilene Costa da; SILVA, Simone da; LEITE, Jandecy CabralIncreasingly, humanity has established a predatory relationship with nature due to the consumerist and capitalist model of production. As a result of this lifestyle, humanity is rapidly approaching a scenario of environmental disaster. Teaching and learning how to take care of the world, how to care for the collective, how to reduce, recycle, and reuse should be themes addressed in schools in a relevant and effective way. This would not only raise awareness among students but also among the entire faculty of educational institutions, the professionals who work in them, the community, society, and the world. Only through education will we be able to cultivate behaviors and habits consistent with sustainability. To achieve this, the curriculum needs to be restructured, allowing for an integrated approach to incorporate sustainability concepts and sustainable development with school knowledge and experiences. Considering that the disciplines of the Pedagogical Project Course (PPC) of the Integrated Technical Course in Buildings do not currently include the theme of sustainability, this work aims to identify and propose the inclusion of teaching sustainability concepts and sustainable development in the syllabi of technical courses in the integrated modality in buildings within the civil construction area of the Federal Institute of Amazonas (IFAM).Item Avaliação da reutilização de resíduos de gesso como estratégia para a construção sustentável em Manaus, Brasil(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2024) MORAES, Rosalina Siqueira ALENCAR, David Barbosa de NASCIMENTO, Manoel Henrique Reis LEITE, Jandecy Cabral MORAES, Nadime Mustafa; LEITE, Jandecy CabralPopulation growth and advances in industry and urbanization contribute to the increase in waste generation, including gypsum. Due to a modification in CONAMA Resolution No. 307, gypsum has been reclassified as Category B, indicating that it can be recycled or reused. This study aimed to diagnose the generation of gypsum waste from construction companies in Manaus and evaluate the technical characteristics of recycled gypsum produced on a pilot scale for reintegration into the civil construction production chain. Laboratory tests were conducted to compare the properties of recycled gypsum with conventional gypsum, assessing setting time, mechanical strength, and consistency. The results indicate that recycled gypsum did not meet the minimum strength required by the standard, suggesting the need for more elaborate processes for its reuse.Item Análise do Gerenciamento de Resíduos da Construção Civil na Cidade de Manaus, Sob a Perspectiva da Sustentabilidade(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2023) PINTO, Cynthia de Faria; SILVA, Simone da; LEITE, Jandecy CabralIn the city of Manaus, environmental problems, mainly those related to civil construction, are not different from the rest of Brazil. The rubber period at the end of the 19th century and the implementation of the Free Trade Zone in the 1960s were responsible for the growing population migration, boosting the growth of the Civil Construction Industry, as well as the generation of its waste. Therefore, the objective of this work is to demonstrate the current scenario of the management of civil construction waste in the City of Manaus, from the perspective of sustainability, from data collected in public administration bodies, through bibliographies and in the construction sites, verifying the current situation of the final destination of the RCC, and which sustainability practices were adopted, aiming to indicate the weaknesses of the RCC management and elaboration of a booklet with the main information collected, in order to guide the best practices for the decision-making by the public administration regarding compliance with CONAMA Resolution No. 307 and Law 12.305/2010 (National Solid Waste Policy – PNRS).Item Educação e sustentabilidade: propor a inserção de práticas sustentáveis no PPC do curso técnico Integrado em edificações do Instituto Federal do Amazonas - IFAM no município de Manaus(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2023-06-20) SILVA, Elcilene Costa da; SILVA, Simone da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7260488247107062Humanity is increasingly establishing a predatory relationship with nature due to the consumerist and capitalist model of production and, due to this lifestyle, humanity is rapidly approaching an environmental disaster scenario. Teaching and learning how to take care of the world, how to take care of the collective, how to reduce, recycle and reuse should be a topic worked on in schools in a relevant and effective way, raising awareness not only among students, but also among the teaching staff of educational institutions, professionals working in them, the community, society and the world. Only through education can we build behaviors and habits consistent with sustainability and only through curriculum restructuring, it can be worked on in an integrated way with knowledge and school experiences. Considering that the disciplines of the Pedagogical Project of the Course (PPC) of the Integrated Technical Course in Buildings do not include the theme of sustainability, this work aims to identify and propose the inclusion of the teaching of sustainability concepts and sustainable development in the syllabi of technical courses in the integrated mode in building construction from the Federal Institute of Amazonas - IFAM. In conclusion, it is understood that there is a shortage of disciplines focused on teaching sustainability, especially related to the triple sustainability of the environment, economy and social. Therefore, it is suggested to adopt disciplines that highlight the importance of the theme for future professionals.Item Análise do gerenciamento de resíduos da construção civil na cidade de Manaus, sob a perspectiva da sustentabilidade(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2023-06-03) PINTO, Cynthia de Faria; SILVA, Simone da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7260488247107062The generation of waste from the civil construction industry, a reflection of population growth, changes in habits and intense consumption, has been a matter of great concern for the world, since natural resources are finite and nature cannot absorb production. exorbitant amount of waste generated by society. In the city of Manaus, environmental problems, mainly those related to civil construction, are not different from the rest of Brazil. The rubber period at the end of the 19th century and the implementation of the Free Trade Zone in the 1960s were responsible for the growing mass population migration to the capital, thus boosting the growth of the Civil Construction Industry, as well as the generation of its waste. Therefore, the objective of this work is to demonstrate the current scenario of management of civil construction waste in the City of Manaus, from the perspective of sustainability, from data collected in the Secretariats and bodies of public administration, through bibliographies, as well as in the construction sites, verifying the current situation of the final destination of the (RCC), and what are the sustainability practices adopted, aiming at the elaboration of a booklet with the indication of the weaknesses found in the management of the RCC and suggestions of improvement actions, aiming at minimization of impacts on the environment, in order to support decision-making by the public administration and its managers regarding compliance with CONAMA Resolution No. 307 and Law 12,305/2010 (National Solid Waste PolicyPNRS).
