Metodologia para Elaboração de Planos Diretores no Amazonas

Abstract

The objective of this research was to build a participatory methodology for the elaboration of master plans in the municipalities of Amazonas, considering the urban and environmental peculiarities of the region. The proposal aims to meet the needs of municipalities, respecting the desires of the population and promoting habitable conditions. The research addresses the importance of popular participation in urban planning, the review of relevant legislation, and the integration of sustainable environmental planning. The study highlights the need for democratic and inclusive management that considers local vocations and promotes sustainable regional development.
