This study analyzes dengue notifications reported to SINAN in the municipality of Iranduba-AM from 2010 to 2017. The research highlights the importance of compulsory notification for epidemiological control, vector control measures, and environmental education. It is an exploratory and bibliographical study, using data from the Information System for Notifiable Diseases (SINAN) and theoretical references on public health and environmental education. The study aims to contribute to raising awareness among health professionals and improving epidemiological surveillance policies.
