The present study aimed to identify, define, and implement improvement actions that enable improvements in logistics flow, cost reduction, and sustainability in a phonographic industry located in the Manaus Industrial Pole (PIM). The research focused on replacing cardboard boxes with reusable plastic boxes for the transport of pre-mastered media between manufacturing and finishing areas. The results showed significant improvements in productivity, cost reduction, and sustainable actions. The project was implemented in six months, with the elimination of the shipping process and the reduction of waste. The plastic boxes provided greater organization, durability, and reduction of environmental impacts, in addition to a return on investment in less than three months.
