This study aimed to identify environmental criminal behaviors similar to biopiracy in the State of Amazonas from 2012 to 2017. Using exploratory and documentary techniques, data was collected from the Integrated Public Security System (SISP) and the Environmental Crimes Police Department (DEMA). The most frequent crimes were permanent forest destruction, potentially polluting services, illegal timber transportation, and wildlife crimes. The research emphasizes the need for focused state actions to combat these environmental offenses.
