Item Viabilidade da Aplicação de Resíduos da Cerâmica Branca Oriundos da Cidade de Manaus para Produção de Argamassas(Instituto de Tecnologia, 2017) MELO, José Roberto de Souza; MAGALHÃES, EdilsonThis study proposes the use of white ceramic waste (RCB), generated in the city of Manaus, as a pozzolanic material in mortar production. X-ray fluorescence and diffraction analyses identified the presence of silicon, aluminum, iron, and sodium oxides in proportions that comply with ABNT NBR 12653/1992 standards. Five mixtures with varying proportions of RCB, sand, and cement were tested and evaluated for porosity, water absorption, specific mass, and compressive strength. The results indicated that the produced mortars can be classified as Class PI and P2, according to ABNT NBR 13279, demonstrating the technical feasibility of replacing up to 50% of natural aggregate with RCB, reducing costs and environmental impact.Item Uso de Resíduos de Couro Tipo Wet Blue como Carga na Produção de Argamassas para a Construção Civil(Instituto de Tecnologia, 2019) ANJOS, Claudia Suellen Osório dos; SOUZA, José Antônio da SilvaThe possibility of use in the manufacture of mortars using leather sawdust and sulphite copper waste (RCMS) in cement paste generates an alternative of attenuation of environmental factors. In the production of these mortars was used wet blue leather, RCMS, Portland cement II and water. This research aimed to study the physical behavior of developed mortars and elucidated their performances. Traits made were 1:3:0; 1:3:2.5; 1:3:5; 1:3:7.5; 1:3:10 and 1:3:15, both with composition established in 100 g of cement and 300 g of RCMS, varying only the quantity of leather sawdust and water, being produced 18 specimens, 3 being reference cement, RCMS and water. After 28 days of life were submitted to: water absorption, apparent porosity, apparent specific mass and resistance to axial compression. The mortars were analyzed by dispersive energy X-ray spectroscopy (EDS).Item Agregado miúdo proveniente do Jari/AP como material de construção civil na utilização de argamassas(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2015) SOUZA, Márcio Rodrigo Nunes de; OLIVEIRA, Dênio Ramam Carvalho deNatural fine aggregates are widely used in construction for the production of mortars and concretes. This study analyzed the behavior of fine aggregate from Laranjal do Jari-AP, comparing it with the traditional fine aggregate from the metropolitan region of Belém-PA. Physical, mechanical, and durability tests were conducted following ABNT standards. The results showed that the aggregate from Laranjal do Jari-AP exhibited higher compressive and tensile strength, in addition to meeting durability standards, demonstrating potential for use in mortars in civil construction.
