Aplicação da Lógica Fuzzy na Gestão de Manutenção de Falhas de Soldagem SMD em Processos Produtivos Automatizados – Estudo de Caso
(Instituto de Tecnologia, 2016) SOARES, Erivan Glaucio Fleury da Costa; OLIVEIRA, Kleber Bittencourt
The present study aims to present the use of fuzzy logic to reduce the subjectivity of options and judgments in maintenance management in automated production processes, focusing on the occurrence of welding failures (SMD). For this purpose, an exploratory and descriptive case study was adopted, analyzing data collected between January 2015 and January 2016. The research employed tools such as the Ishikawa Diagram, Pareto Diagram, and Variable Control Chart to highlight the main defects. It was concluded that after system modeling and applying fuzzy logic concepts, there was a significant reduction in failures, greater understanding of phenomena, and effective solutions to avoid recurrences

Desenvolvimento de um Sistema Inteligente para Determinação de Set Point no Controle da Área Superficial da Alumina: Aplicação de Lógica Fuzzy em Calcinadores de Leito Fluidizado
(Instituto de Tecnologia, 2015) COSTA, Hugo Pedro de Sousa Valente da; COSTA JUNIOR, Carlos Tavares da
This study investigates the implementation of a fuzzy system to control the specific surface area of alumina in fluidized bed calciners. The fuzzy methodology was chosen for its ability to handle complex and imprecise problems, leveraging empirical knowledge from experts. The developed system proposes temperature and pressure set points to optimize alumina quality and operational safety. Simulation results demonstrated the system's effectiveness, with adjustments based on real data collected from January to December 2014.

Sistema Fuzzy para Automação do Balizamento Luminoso de Pista de Pouso e Decolagem para Aeroportos
(Instituto de Tecnologia, 2018) COSTA, João Ulisses Rodrigues; SILVA, Orlando Fonseca
This work presents a proposal for the automation of runway edge lighting for airport landing and takeoff using Fuzzy logic. The aim is to reduce the workload of air traffic controllers, minimizing the possibility of human errors during critical moments of landing and takeoff. The proposed system uses runway visibility and cloud ceiling data, collected by equipment such as the Visibilometer and the Tetometer, to adjust the light intensity of the runway edge lighting. Simulations performed in MATLAB with real data demonstrated the feasibility of the proposal, with results comparable to decisions made by human operators.

Aumento da Produtividade: Utilizando a Metodologia Six Sigma e Lógica Fuzzy, um Estudo de Caso em uma Empresa do Pólo Industrial de Manaus – PIM.
(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2011) FERREIRA, Marcela Seixas.; SILVA, Orlando Fonseca.
This study uses Six Sigma methodology in order to increase the productivity of the Line of LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) in a factory in the Pólo Industrial de Manaus - PIM and a fuzzy inference system to measure the increase of productivity, where we identified several parameters based on the Six Sigma methodology. Among which, according to the degree of relevance of specialists in this study, we can highlight: waste, production capacity and time study. Emphasizing further that the proposed system is of great importance to practitioners and researchers of production management, who want results that reduce costs and therefore increase profits of the organization.

Mapeamento de Perdas no Processo de Manutenção de Ar Condicionado Automotivo com Uso da Escala Likert e Lógica Difusa
(Instituto de Tecnologia, 2020) CAMPOS, Williams de Souza; MAGALHÃES, Edilson Marques
The search for efficient management is one of the main concerns in companies. Eliminating losses in maintenance can be done when there is another way to perform a task. This study aimed to map the type of critical loss in an automotive maintenance process in the operation and process functions, evaluating the factors that influence this loss in the flow of materials and services. The methodology was divided into three phases: data collection, loss mapping, and measurement and evaluation of critical variables using the Likert scale and Fuzzy logic. The mapping result identified the critical loss as "waiting," related to the lack of parts, with an average lead time of 3 days. The delay rates for delivery were 48.8% on the Likert scale and 50% on Fuzzy logic, confirming the reality of the process.

Gestão Integrada de Compras: Um Modelo de Processo de Seleção de Fornecedores Baseado em Lógica Fuzzy
(Instituto de Tecnologia, 2020) LOPES, Ana Cláudia Brasil; QUARESMA, João Nazareno Nonato
The search for competitive advantage through the interconnection of organizational processes allows companies to reduce their time and expenses. Therefore, this study aimed to propose strategies to find good practices for these actions, with the main objective of presenting a model for the supplier selection process based on fuzzy logic to improve activities. The model was developed in Matlab® software, using the Fuzzy Logic Toolbox environment, and considered social and economic criteria for the selection of suppliers of an electronic product in a foundation supporting Research, Extension, and R&D projects. The results showed that the model was efficient, with minimal differences between suppliers, suggesting the continuation of the relationship with the selected ones and the adoption of tools to recover those that did not show good results.

Aplicação de Filtro Harmônico em Sistemas Elétricos de Baixa Tensão Utilizando Lógica Fuzzy
(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2010) CIRINO, Weverson dos Santos; COSTA JUNIOR, Carlos Tavares da
This work presents a solution to minimize harmonic distortion in low-voltage electrical systems through the application of passive harmonic filters and the use of fuzzy logic. The proposed algorithm detects and calculates the frequencies at which the Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) value is elevated, comparing it with a normative index. Once the need for filter application is identified, the algorithm designs the passive filter, chosen for its ease of installation and low cost. The algorithm also recalculates the THD after filter application, using fuzzy logic to classify the final result.

Aplicação de uma Metodologia de Lógica Fuzzy à Gestão de Estoques: Um Estudo de Caso em uma Instituição Pública
(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2011) SANTOS, Gilbert Queiroz dos; BARRA JUNIOR, Walter
This paper presents a proposal for implementing a fuzzy logic approach to inventory management of a public institution of the federal administration, located in Manaus-AM. Initially, a review of the literature on logistics and supply management is conducted. They are then discussed issues relating to inventory management. After that, we discuss issues related to the fuzzy logic. The proposed methodology will allow a better control over inventory, since it will replace traditional quantitative methods of inventory management. The data were collected directly from the warehouse of the institution under study, and refer to the movement of stock of a particular item during the year 2009. The use of fuzzy logic has attracted increasingly more attention from researchers in different areas of knowledge, being, however, that the great challenge posed to them is the modeling of the data collected, due to its computational support needed application. The interaction with the observed values, operated by the rules of fuzzy logic allows a better control of stock in a warehouse, such as service, parts and tender, since it deals with uncertainty and subjectivity. The methodology appears to be able to indicate a better performance of the quoted shares, being able to operate on an automated tracking and inventory management.
