The plate assembly process in a company has a target of producing 2000 plates per day; however, 10% of this production presents failures, compromising the management-defined goals. This study aims to implement an intelligent system for identifying and correcting failures in the board assembly process, based on Business Intelligence, aiming at the evolution of Industry 4.0 practices. The methodology included process mapping, analysis of requirements for implementing the integrated system, and evaluation of the system's effectiveness. The integrated system enabled communication between the various systems in the production process, providing more accurate information to improve usability performance and ensure data security. The implementation of this system represented a significant advancement for the evolution of Industry 4.0 practices, providing improvements in quality, efficiency, and cost reduction.

This work aims to apply a model of game theory in the optimization of processes to reduce the construction time of popular housing, demonstrating the management process of the agents involved in the construction context, optimizing collaboration and efficiency. The housing deficit and inadequate living conditions of low-income populations are problems exacerbated by unplanned population growth and lack of urban infrastructure, impacting quality of life. The research developed a model based on game theory to optimize construction processes, allowing the definition of cooperative and non-cooperative strategies among the agents involved. The methodology used was descriptive research with a quantitative approach, applying game models for simulation and decision-making analysis in the civil construction sector. The results proved that the application of game theory helps reduce the construction time of popular housing by encouraging cooperation among stakeholders, making the process more efficient and reducing waste. It is concluded that resource rationalization and the application of strategic incentives can transform competitive situations into opportunities for cooperation, promoting efficiency in the construction sector.

This dissertation presents an integrated approach to reducing setup time in industrial processes, combining fuzzy logic, quality tools, SMED (Single-Minute Exchange of Die) technique, and computer simulation. The study followed a five-step methodology, from analyzing the current process to validating proposed strategies, emphasizing that tools and equipment account for 86% of the setup time influence. The SMED application was crucial to eliminating waste and optimizing the process by converting internal activities into external ones.

This study demonstrated the importance of a management and control project in optimizing the production processes in a dental prosthetic laboratory. The use of quality tools contributed to the success of quality improvement efforts in both product and service quality, as well as in production flow. It restructured all aspects of the company, managing strategic change projects and ensuring that each regulation was directed towards achieving the necessary results for successful planning. It implemented a complete transformation in each department, with changes being experienced and results soon being reflected in reports, showing improvements in personnel, production, financial, and strategic management sectors. This led to new contracts and an expanded portfolio of clients and suppliers. Utilizing programs and spreadsheets to monitor and control transformations, gathering precise information necessary for ongoing process improvements. Understanding the operation and identifying critical points in need of improvement, appropriate means were studied and applied to provide necessary support to various points in the production line. This work transformed the company! Professionals were trained, the production line was realigned, workflow was directed towards a new form, eliminating critical points and adjusting those that could still interfere. The resulting impact included increased production, waste reduction, elimination of excess damage, and production standardization. With aligned production, financial aspects experienced a very positive impact! Revenue increased, production costs reduced, high costs associated with losses and damages were nearly eliminated, and revenue surged from 2% to over 40%, allowing the organization to strengthen its position in the market and aim for new technologies to ensure greater efficiency in the face of competition.

COVID-19 Accelerated by e-commerce in the logistics sector has been driven by the rapid collection pandemic, however, the infrastructure accompanied by customer service and meeting deadlines do not have the same speed as payment for delivery of payments, late payments and deliveries from clients. The successive costs of the operation and the fierce competition on the part of industrial companies, especially when dealing with the service to the business sector. Process is executed based on the driver's experience, which is experiences without the aid of technological resources. This study addresses the Vehicle Routing Problem (VRP) as one of the most objective in the logistics sector, with the main purpose of proposing a delivery delivery of routes for collection and/or contracts for products contracted in contracts between courier companies and large companies. Thus, a systematic review of the literature was presented, in which an analysis of the state of the art on the PRV and its variants was carried out through the ProK methodology, having identified that the animal used (GA) was the most tool in the planning and routing of vehicles. This perspective used a GA computational intelligence technique in conjunction with complex georeferencing coordinates to solve this industrial logistical problem, not which the exact location of the mapped points was determined. The scenarios were implemented in simulation systems and compared with data from a real operation, with a courier company. At the end of the research, the new route model of possible expected result, through an efficient method, the maximum capacity and the minimum distance by an optimized method for the execution of vehicles and, still, an efficient time, optimized for an optimal solution costs and improved the quality of the studied process.
