Item Smart energy: application of the photovoltaic system using genetic algorithms for decision making in industry 4.0(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2024) OLIVEIRA, Adriana Waschington Carneiro de; SILVA, Simone da; ALMEIDA, Anderson Alexandre Silva de; MONTEIRO, Odilon Bentes; RIBEIRO, Paulo Francisco da Silva; NASCIMENTO FILHO, Alarico Gonçalves do; LEITE, Jandecy CabralThe growing demand for sustainable solutions and the digitalization of industrial processes have driven the adoption of photovoltaic systems and advanced decision-making technologies. In the context of Industry 4.0, where automation and artificial intelligence are fundamental, these systems stand out as a clean energy alternative, promoting savings and reducing pollutant emissions. This study aims to develop a photovoltaic energy control model that uses genetic algorithms to optimize energy efficiency in industrial environments, reducing costs and dependence on non-renewable sources. The methodology included the computational modeling of a photovoltaic system and the application of genetic algorithms to optimize parameters such as panel angle and operating hours, adapting the system in real time to variable consumption and generation conditions. The results showed that the use of genetic algorithms increased the system's efficiency by up to 20% compared to traditional methods, as well as minimizing consumption from the electricity grid at peak times. This study reinforces the importance of artificial intelligence in optimizing renewable resources, contributing to energy efficiency and sustainability in Industry 4.0.Item Proposed checklist for the implementation of the SMT component assembly process(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2024) CRUZ JUNIOR, Davi Clementino da; VIEIRA JUNIOR, MiltonThe manufacture of electronic products has evolved significantly over time, starting with wire assembly, through THT (Through Hole Technology), and reaching SMT (Surface Mount Technology), following the trend towards the miniaturization of electronic components. The complete SMT production process generally consists of three distinct stages: solder paste application, component positioning, and solder reflow to electrically connect the components to the board. The manufacture of electronic boards using surface mount technology is the most up-to-date, especially with the advent of Industry 4.0, which is increasingly raising the level of investment required to purchase the equipment/machines that make up a fully automated assembly line. However, it is common to find inefficient SMT lines, increasing manufacturing costs. This paper aims to present an efficient implementation system, considering everything from Design for Manufacturing (DFM) to Start Up, including technical information on the board and the components to be inserted into it, through the programming of assembly equipment.Item Automated Irrigation System Guided By Evapotranspiration Compensation(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2024) SILVA, Edivaldo Amarante Da; NASCIMENTO, Manoel Henrique ReisThe rapid growth of the world's population drives an increasing demand for food, highlighting Malthus's prediction about the unsustainability of population growth in the face of food production. Given the projection of almost nine billion people by 2050, optimizing agricultural production becomes crucial, with irrigation emerging as a key method to increase crop efficiency. This study proposes the development of an automated irrigation system based on evapotranspiration compensation, aiming to address this challenge by promoting sustainable water use and improving agricultural productivity. The system was developed using the Penman-Monteith method (FAO) and applied to curly lettuce cultivation, with a control module equipped with an ESP32 microcontroller to calculate evapotranspiration and manage irrigation based on real-time atmospheric data.Item Application of Fuzzy Inference Systems for Preliminary Analysis of the Technical Requirements of Permission Holders for the Repair and Maintenance of Regulated Measuring Instruments(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2024) MOREIRA, Jaildo Jackson do Amaral; BRITO JUNIOR, Jorge de Almeida; NASCIMENTO, Manoel Henrique Reis; LEITE, Jandecy CabralAccurate measurement is essential in a variety of sectors, from industry to health and the environment. In Brazil, the National Institute of Metrology, Quality and Technology (INMETRO) is responsible for regulating and inspecting measuring instruments. To ensure compliance, holders of authorisations to repair and maintain these instruments must meet strict technical requirements. In this context, the application of fuzzy inference systems can be an effective approach to preliminarily analysing these technical requirements. The aim of this article is to apply fuzzy inference systems to the preliminary analysis of the technical requirements of holders of authorisations for the repair and maintenance of measuring instruments regulated by INMETRO. The results obtained showed that the fuzzy inference system was able to carry out a preliminary analysis of the technical requirements of authorisation holders with significant accuracy, correctly identifying compliance or non-compliance in more than 90% of the cases tested.Item Development of a prototype to evaluate and monitor energy efficiency aiming at power quality 4.0(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2024) BARBOSA, Sergio Lyra; LEITE, Jandecy CabralThis research aims to experimentally develop a prototype to monitor electrical power systems using a MODBUS-RTU to TCP protocol converter gateway, providing useful information for technicians and managers of a company in the Manaus Industrial Estate (PIM). The prototype was developed in three main phases: specification of technical requirements, acquisition of materials, and implementation of the monitoring system with an IMS controller for reactive power compensation. The system was configured to measure electrical quantities such as voltage, current, power factor, active power, reactive power, apparent power, frequency, and voltage THD. The prototype proved to be effective in data collection and reactive power compensation, contributing to informed decision-making and improving the company's energy efficiency.Item Aplicação da teoria dos jogos na otimização de processos para redução do tempo construtivo de habitações populares(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2024) SOUZA, Silvia Cristina Matos de; LEITE, Jandecy CabralThis work proposes the application of Game Theory to optimize processes and reduce the construction time of affordable housing. Given the growing housing deficit and the poor living conditions for low-income populations, the study aims to improve collaboration and efficiency in the construction sector. The methodology involved the development of a theoretical model for the sector, focusing on reducing delays and costs, as well as rationalizing decision-making in the construction process. The research, which is descriptive and quantitative in nature, aims to show how Game Theory can be a useful tool for decision-making, contributing to the reduction of construction time through cooperation among the agents involved. The developed model suggests that the application of incentives can transform competition into cooperation, resulting in a significant reduction in total construction time.Item Educação e Sustentabilidade no Currículo do Curso Técnico em Edificações: Implementação e Desafios(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2023) SILVA, Eicilene Costa da; SILVA, Simone da; LEITE, Jandecy CabralIncreasingly, humanity has established a predatory relationship with nature due to the consumerist and capitalist model of production. As a result of this lifestyle, humanity is rapidly approaching a scenario of environmental disaster. Teaching and learning how to take care of the world, how to care for the collective, how to reduce, recycle, and reuse should be themes addressed in schools in a relevant and effective way. This would not only raise awareness among students but also among the entire faculty of educational institutions, the professionals who work in them, the community, society, and the world. Only through education will we be able to cultivate behaviors and habits consistent with sustainability. To achieve this, the curriculum needs to be restructured, allowing for an integrated approach to incorporate sustainability concepts and sustainable development with school knowledge and experiences. Considering that the disciplines of the Pedagogical Project Course (PPC) of the Integrated Technical Course in Buildings do not currently include the theme of sustainability, this work aims to identify and propose the inclusion of teaching sustainability concepts and sustainable development in the syllabi of technical courses in the integrated modality in buildings within the civil construction area of the Federal Institute of Amazonas (IFAM).Item Análise da Gestão de Resíduos Sólidos no Trecho Entre o Terminal Portuário da Manaus Moderna e IP4 Município Careiro da Várzea/AM(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2023) CUNHA, Alinda Freitas da; SILVA, Simone da; LEITE, Jandecy CabralPort activities are essential for the expansion of the globalized economy; however, this sector can cause significant environmental impacts, such as those related to solid waste from vessels.
