Item Business Intelligence as an Integration Tool for Fault Detection of the Board Assembly Process(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2024) CAMPOS, Paola Souto; LEITE, Jandecy CabralThe plate assembly process in the analyzed company has a stipulated goal of 2000 plates per day, and 10% of this production has failures, compromising the management's defined goals. Given this issue, the present study aims to implement an intelligent system for identifying and correcting failures in the board assembly process, based on Business Intelligence (BI), aligned with Industry 4.0 practices. The methodology included Process Mapping and Requirements Analysis for the Implementation of the Integrated System. The system enabled faster and more effective communication with other production process systems, ensuring accurate information for performance optimization and data security. The implementation of this intelligent failure detection system represented a significant step towards Industry 4.0 evolution.Item Different Deterministic Optimization Methods for Economic Load Dispatch, Switching Off Less Efficient Generators(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2017) LEITE, Jandecy Cabral; CAMPOS, Paola SoutoThe Economic Load Dispatch (ELD) is one of the most important optimization and operational decision tasks in power systems. This study compares various deterministic mathematical optimization methods, including Lambda Iteration, Newton’s Method, and Quadratic Programming, to solve the ELD problem. The analysis considers both the traditional methodology and a proposed approach that includes turning off less efficient generators to reduce costs and improve system efficiency.Item Promoting Development and Environmental Awareness in Children with Disabilities: An Approach with Adapted Physical Education and Fuzzy Logic(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2024) CAMPOS, Paola Souto; LEITE, Jandecy CabralThis study aimed to develop a fuzzy logic model to evaluate the impact of interventions in Adapted Physical Education and Environmental Education on the development of children with disabilities, covering physical, cognitive, and environmental awareness aspects. Scenario simulations mimicking real conditions and incorporating variables such as motor coordination and understanding of environmental concepts were implemented. The interventions were evaluated using fuzzy rules to measure the impacts on various development dimensions. Although the model was not applied practically with children, validation tests suggest its future applicability in practical studies. Results indicate that integrated and balanced interventions can effectively improve both physical and cognitive development. Fuzzy logic proved to be a robust tool for detailed progress evaluation, indicating that the developed model can significantly contribute to inclusive pedagogical practices and guide educational policies for children with disabilities while reinforcing sustainability in environmental education.Item Reliability Analysis of a Group of Internal Combustion Engines (ICM) in Thermoelectric Power Plants Using Optimization Methods for Artificial Neural Networks (ANN)(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2023) SILVA, Ítalo Rodrigo Soares; CAMPOS, Paola SoutoThis chapter presents a study on the reliability of internal combustion engines in thermoelectric power plants using artificial neural networks (ANN) and optimization methods. The research models engine performance based on operational and environmental variables, aiming to predict failures and optimize predictive maintenance. The results show that applying ANN reduces operational costs and improves energy generation efficiency.Item Uma Proposta Inovadora Utilizando Blockchain para a Gestão Financeira em Obras Públicas, Tendo como Base o Sistema Brasileiro(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2020) JÚNIOR, Paulo Oliveira Siqueira; CAMPOS, Paola SoutoThe poor investment of funds in public works across different sectors in Brazil is evident due to the concentration of technologies and new methodologies, varying according to the current legislation in each state. This study proposes a blockchain-based methodology to increase confidence in financial data, enabling greater transparency, reliability, and public sector oversight. The blockchain network allows mirroring of revenues and expenses, making financial processes more secure and auditable.
