Sinergia entre Modelagem 3D e Redes Neurais Artificiais na Otimização da Manufatura Aditiva no Contexto da Indústria 4.0
(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2025) DIAS, Jonathan Oliveira; ALENCAR, David Barbosa de
Additive manufacturing (AM), widely known as 3D printing, emerges as one of the key technologies of Industry 4.0, enabling the production of parts with high geometric complexity and customization. This study investigates how the integration between 3D modeling and Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs) enhances the efficiency and quality of AM processes. 3D modeling supports detailed simulations of material behavior and manufacturing processes, while ANNs provide predictive analysis and learning from large data volumes, allowing automatic and dynamic adjustments to parameters such as speed, temperature, and fill patterns. The results show significant improvements in reliability, waste reduction, and energy consumption, aligning production with sustainability demands.

Potential plastic digestor of Euphorbia Tirucalli
(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2024) SILVA, Simone da; LEITE, Jandecy Cabral
Natural products that cause oxidative stress and local corrosion are of interest in the degradation of persistent materials such as plastics. This chapter evaluated the corrosive and shrinkage physicochemical action of aqueous extracts of Euphorbia tirucalli on polypropylene (PP-5) subjected to temperature variations. Despite observations regarding potential practical applications, raw latexes from tested geographic regions did not chemically digest isopropylene. It is suggested that effective plastic digestion requires the presence of a specific endophytic fungus. Further tests will be conducted to investigate phytoremediation mechanisms.

Insecticidal and juvenilizing activity tests of Euphorbia tirucalli Latex on Aedes aegypti Larvae. Micropropagation and new potential for biological activity
(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2024) SILVA, Simone da; LEITE, Jandecy Cabral
Euphorbia tirucalli is a succulent species used for various applications, including vector control of mosquitoes in Africa and Asia. This study analyzed the insecticidal and juvenilizing effects of the aqueous fraction of latex obtained from explants micropropagated with 6-Benzylaminopurin (6-BA) and Norbixin, under different light fluences. Latex was extracted by ultrasonic methods and tested on Aedes aegypti larvae development. No insecticidal or juvenilizing activity was observed. New experiments will be conducted with variations in red light exposure time and higher concentrations of extracts, due to the high prevalence of dengue in Rio de Janeiro.

Environmental impact of pollutants and the potential contribution to phytoremediation
(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2024) SILVA, Simone da; LEITE, Jandecy Cabral
This chapter revisited an experiment that evaluated elicitors for the germination of Vigna unguiculata (Cowpea Beans): the plant extract of Euphorbia tirucalli, the ultra-diluted and dynamized solution of Sulfur 5CH, and the two in combination. In 2017, significant seed engorgement and ammonia-like odor exudation suggested involvement of the sodium/potassium pump, thiol group detoxifying enzymes, and nitrogenous oxidative stress pathways. Given recent literature linking thiol groups to mercury phytoremediation, the study discusses E. tirucalli as a potential hyperaccumulator, considering mechanisms such as phytoextraction and phytovolatilization of pollutants.

Investigation of the antifungal action of natural products on seeds of Euterpe oleraceae: Bioproduct Potential
(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2024) SILVA, Simone da; LEITE, Jandecy Cabral
Açaí seeds (Euterpe oleraceae) are used in handicrafts by urban indigenous Sateré-Mawé in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. However, fungal contamination compromises their conservation, leading to losses of approximately 47% of the purchased seeds. This study tested the antifungal activity of aqueous extracts from Bixa orellana (Annatto), Punica granatum (Pomegranate), Tagetes erecta (Marigold), and Euphorbia tirucalli (Firestick) on açaí seeds. Only E. tirucalli showed significant antifungal action (21.75%) at the tested concentration, indicating potential for seed preservation. Based on these findings, further trials will be conducted within the One Health perspective.

Business Intelligence as an Integration Tool for Fault Detection of the Board Assembly Process
(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2024) PAIXÃO, Elisete da Silva; LEITE, Jandecy Cabral
The plate assembly process in the company in question has a stipulated goal of 2000 plates per day, and 10% of this production has failures, compromising management-defined objectives. This study proposes the implementation of an intelligent system for identifying and correcting failures in the board assembly process using Business Intelligence (BI) tools to advance Industry 4.0 practices. The methodology included Process Mapping and Requirement Analysis for the Integrated System Implementation. The integrated system enabled faster and more effective communication with other production systems, providing assertive information for data security and usability. The application of BI represented a significant step towards automation and continuous improvement in the industrial environment.

Promoting Development and Environmental Awareness in Children with Disabilities: An Approach with Adapted Physical Education and Fuzzy Logic
(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2024) CAMPOS, Paola Souto; LEITE, Jandecy Cabral
This study aimed to develop a fuzzy logic model to evaluate the impact of interventions in Adapted Physical Education and Environmental Education on the development of children with disabilities, covering physical, cognitive, and environmental awareness aspects. Scenario simulations mimicking real conditions and incorporating variables such as motor coordination and understanding of environmental concepts were implemented. The interventions were evaluated using fuzzy rules to measure the impacts on various development dimensions. Although the model was not applied practically with children, validation tests suggest its future applicability in practical studies. Results indicate that integrated and balanced interventions can effectively improve both physical and cognitive development. Fuzzy logic proved to be a robust tool for detailed progress evaluation, indicating that the developed model can significantly contribute to inclusive pedagogical practices and guide educational policies for children with disabilities while reinforcing sustainability in environmental education.
