This study presents the application of the TRIZ methodology (Theory of Inventive Problem Solving) in the design of cylindrical spur gears. TRIZ is a systematic approach to innovation, using inventive principles to resolve technical contradictions. The work demonstrates how modifying tooth geometry through tool displacement can enhance bending resistance without significantly compromising the contact ratio. The results show that the proposed solution meets safety and performance requirements, validating TRIZ's effectiveness in gear design.
