Item USO DE TÉCNICAS DE OTIMIZAÇÃO METAHEURISTICAS APLICADAS AO DESPACHO ECONÔMICO E AMBIENTAL DE USINAS TERMOELÉTRICAS E FOTOVOLTAICAS(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2023) Santos, Eliton Smith dos; NUNES, Marcus Vinicius AlvesEconomic Load Dispatch (ELD) aims at planning and operating Thermoelectric Power Plants (TPP) to meet energy demand at the lowest cost. However, traditional ELD does not consider environmental costs, which are crucial under current sustainability concerns. Thus, this thesis proposes the use of metaheuristic techniques — Ant Lion Optimizer (ALO), Dragonfly Algorithm (DA), and Differential Evolution (DE) — to optimize the Environmental Economic Dispatch (EED), integrating photovoltaic solar generation. The proposal includes an intelligent algorithm that adjusts TPP motor power based on demand, allowing the shutdown of less efficient motors and reducing emissions. Simulations performed in the MATLAB environment, with a hybrid model of six Generating Units (GU) and thirteen Solar Photovoltaic Plants (SPP), demonstrated that the DE technique yielded the best results, reducing fossil fuel consumption by 3.02% and atmospheric emissions by 1.42%.Item Medición eléctrica del nivel de los depósitos de combustible en plantas termoeléctricas para el gerenciamiento de la logística de suministro(INSTITUTO DE TECNOLOGIA, 2020) SILVA NETO, Almiro Gomes da; LEITE, Jandecy Cabral; MACIEL, Paulo Henrique de Lima; Professora Dra. Fernanda Souza do NascimentoThis article presents a proposal for an electric measurement system for fuel tanks in thermoelectric plants, replacing the traditional manual method that shows inaccuracies. The proposed technology aims to enhance the logistics of fuel supply—critical for thermoelectric plant operation—through an automated system using capacitive probes, offering greater precision, reliability, and continuous monitoring of fuel levels.Item Methodology Proposal for Multicriteria Optimization Using NSGA-II in Industrial Applications(INSTITUTO DE TECNOLOGIA, 2023) CASTRO, Anderson de Oliveira; BEZERRA, Ubiratan Holanda; LEITE, Jandecy Cabral; AZEVEDO, Manoel Socorro Santos.; Professor Dr. Bernardo Borges Pompeu NetoThe paper proposes a methodology for multicriteria optimization using the NSGA-II genetic algorithm in industrial applications, specifically in the assembly process of electronic components in surface mount technology (SMT) machines. The study addresses problems such as feeder arrangement and head routing, aiming to reduce the total cycle time. The methodology integrates known approaches and applies multi-objective optimization to enhance machine performance, with results validated in a real industrial environment.Item Implementação de Medidas e Uso de um Software Supervisório na Eficiência Energética de um Sistema de Refrigeração Industrial(Instituto de Tecnologia, 2023) RAABE, Matheus Arthur; SILVA, Pedro LuizThis paper aims to present the results of implementing a set of energy efficiency measures, supported by a supervisory software, in an industrial refrigeration system installed in a dairy factory. The study involved the collection and analysis of electric energy consumption data, equipment operation, and identification of improvement opportunities. With the implementation of actions such as evaporation temperature control, optimization of compressor operation, and the introduction of maintenance routines, a significant reduction in energy consumption and improvement in system reliability was observed. The results demonstrate the potential for energy and operational gains through the use of automation and supervision technologies in industrial processes.Item METODOLOGIA DE ATERRAMENTO EM LINHA DE TRANSMISSÃO EM CORRENTE ALTERNADA 550 kV NA AMAZÔNIA – UM ESTUDO DE CASO(Instituto de Tecnologia, 2021) CARVALHO, Franklin Barbosa; NASCIMENTO, Manoel Henrique ReisLightning strikes are of great importance for the electricity sector, frequently responsible for disconnections of transmission lines, which can trigger a sequence of events that may lead to the collapse of the interconnected electrical system. The objective of this work is to propose a new methodology to correct the grounding resistances of the LT Oriximiná/Silves CD 550kV electric power transmission line in the Amazon, aiming to reduce the occurrences of shutdowns caused by disruptive return discharges (backflashover) and mitigate the damages to the electrical system. Considering implementation cost factors, environmental technical feasibility, and the applicability of the solution to other line structures, it was concluded that the most adequate approach for a more robust grounding solution in the transmission line towers was the "solution 03," tested on tower 585, achieving a 66.98% reduction.Item REDUÇÃO DO CUSTO DE PASTA DE SOLDA NO PROCESSO DE TECNOLOGIA DE MONTAGEM SUPERFICIAL (SMT)(Instituto de Tecnologia, 2021) CAMARGO, Marco Antônio de Almeida; BRAGA, Eduardo de MagalhãesThe Surface Mounting Technology (SMT) industries have faced constant challenges regarding environmental issues and cost reduction. The welding of electronic components traditionally incorporates lead, which presents environmental and financial risks due to the high cost of solder paste. The objective of this dissertation is to present the development of the local solder paste manufacturing process to reduce production costs while maintaining the quality and reliability of the product, especially in television electronic boards. The study includes a literature review on the SMT process and a case study in a factory located in the Manaus Industrial Pole (PIM). The results show that adopting local suppliers can generate significant savings by minimizing costs related to importation and logistics.Item Prototipagem de Sistema de Alarme de Incêndio Baseado em Sensor Nanoestruturado Integrado a IoT(Instituto de Tecnologia, 2021) FREITAS, Luis Gustavo Oliveira de; REIS, Marcos Allan Leite dosThis work presents the prototyping of a fire alarm system using nanostructured sensors integrated with the Internet of Things (IoT). The proposed system aims to detect heat sources efficiently and quickly, sending real-time alerts for fire prevention. The methodology includes the development of nanostructured sensors, integration with IoT devices, and effectiveness tests in different scenarios. The results demonstrate the system's feasibility for applications in safety and environmental monitoring.Item Análise de Impactos Harmônicos em Rede de Média Tensão Utilizando Redes Neurais(Instituto de Tecnologia, 2020) SOUZA, Jayne do Nascimento; LEITE, Jandecy CabralA methodology is presented to assess the impact caused by the generation of harmonics on a bus of interest in a medium voltage substation, using artificial neural networks (ANN). The objective is to conduct measurement campaigns to collect data from the electrical system, demonstrate a study on the quality of electrical energy, considering the recommendations of IEC 61000-3-6, IEEE Std. 519-2014, EN 50160-2004, and PRODIST (module 8, 2017), and propose the development of an algorithm capable of evaluating measurements using the ANN technique. The technique used allowed the construction of a model and the validation of the results obtained, demonstrating the effectiveness of applying neural networks in the analysis of harmonic impacts in electrical distribution systems.
