Item Isothermic Gasification Octave(INSTITUTO DE TECNOLOGIA, 2015) MATIAUDA, Mario; DE LEÓN BENÍTEZ, Juan B.; ARTEAGA, Luis Ernesto; FREAZA, Nora; RIVERO, Marta; YACHECEN, Carlos; Eduardo de Magalhães BragaGasification is a process of thermal conversion where solid biomass (sawdust pellets) is transformed into gas by partial oxidation at high temperatures. The model is based on the two-phase theory (bubble - emulsion), suitable for predicting experimental results in reactions occurring in fluidized beds. The model simulation includes mass and energy balances and hydrodynamic studies, with assumptions such as isothermal process behavior.Item Elaboração de um Modelo Matemático para o Estudo do Comportamento de Efluentes Originados da Indústria do Petróleo(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2015) SOUZA, Suellyn Siqueira de; ALVES, Rui Guilherme Cavaleiro de MacedoThe objective of this work was to develop a mathematical model to predict the future behavior of treated effluents originating from the petroleum processing industry. The model was developed by dividing the effluent treatment system into subprocesses, for which submodels were developed and then integrated to form a general model. The development of the general model involved defining the input and output variables of the system, formulating general dynamic equations, acquiring process data, estimating submodels using fuzzy identification techniques, and integrating the submodels through the neurofuzzy method. The final model allowed simulations of effluent behavior under critical conditions, contributing to environmental conservation.Item Ensaio Mecânico e Aplicação da Lógica Fuzzy para Avaliação do Canote do Garfo(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2010) SANTOS, Ruy Sidney Nascimento dos; FARIA, Marlene Araújo deTechnological innovation has been one of the fundamental factors that drive major companies to stay atop the world ranking of the global market. Simulation methods for evaluating the mechanical behavior of products subjected to static and dynamic loads are extremely necessary to reduce manufacturing costs. This study aimed to use fuzzy logic in a product called the bicycle fork seatpost, where the degree of membership and accuracy, varying between 0 and 1, were analyzed, focusing on the product's behavior and its validation.
