This work aims to demonstrate, through a case study, the application of the 8D tool in a cellular components industry in the city of Manaus - AM. The study details the steps used to adapt the 8D tool according to the company's needs. The research methods are descriptive and exploratory, highlighting relevant information such as selecting process steps and developing plans for applying the 8D tool to improve processes. The study also demonstrates the advantages and benefits achieved with the methodology’s implementation, providing an in-depth view of process adaptations and their role in continuous improvements. The 8D tool is primarily applied using Excel spreadsheets, similar to a checklist, enabling information storage for potential future problems and comparisons with other methodologies
