Item Procedures for risk assessment of critical slant prevention ergonomic work stations: a case study(INSTITUTO DE TECNOLOGIA, 2015) LEITE, Jandecy Cabral; QUEIROZ, Getúlio Lima de; BRITO JUNIOR, Jorge de Almeida; NASCIMENTO, Enily Vieira do; PIRES, Marcello Fonseca; Eduardo de Magalhães BragaThe study identifies risk factors affecting the performance of employees at Annapoly Indústria e Comércio LTDA, analyzing the impact of predisposing aspects of work-related occupational diseases. Using a qualitative-quantitative approach, the research emphasizes the importance of ergonomics in preventing musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs), proposing measures to improve working conditions and reduce health risks.Item Proposed Monitoring System of Logistics Banking Control(INSTITUTO DE TECNOLOGIA, 2015) FERREIRA, Cloves Wanderlande Torres; ARAÚJO, Francis Taynã Silva; SANTOS, Marcio César Abreu dos; Jandecy Cabral LeiteAn electronic control system was proposed to monitor the inputs and outputs of documentation and pouches in the banking sector of CFM Bank. Methodological tools included documentary research, direct observation, interviews, and questionnaires across 135 agencies in four northern Brazilian states. The implementation aimed at reducing the risk of loss and delays, improving efficiency, and enhancing the control of bank documents.Item Uso do Controle Estatístico de Processo (CEP) na Gestão de Operações Produtivas em uma Indústria no Polo Industrial de Manaus(INSTITUTO DE TECNOLOGIA, 2015) OLIVEIRA, Sidney dos Santos; LEITE, Jandecy Cabral; SOUZA, José Antonio da Silva; OLIVEIRA, Rosimeire Freires Pereira; MAGALHÃES, Edilson MarquesMonitoring, fault detection, and defect visualization are strategic issues for product quality. The article demonstrates the use of Statistical Process Control (SPC) in managing productive operations, employing a methodology based on control chart analysis for production monitoring. The approach combines defect location graphs and visualizations, applied in a case study at a company in the Manaus Industrial Hub (PIM). Results show variability through statistical graphs, enabling corrections and improvements in production processes, enhancing company quality.Item Eco-efficiency in industry and PML plastic, reducing waste stretch film in production(INSTITUTO DE TECNOLOGIA, 2015) VASCONCELOS, Agna de Souza; COSTA, Elis Patrícia Silva; MONTEIRO, Mayna Carolina Alves; MAGALHÃES, Edilson MarquesThis study explores the application of Cleaner Production (CP) tools combined with eco-efficiency in the plastics industry, focusing on waste reduction in stretch film production. A quantitative case study identified inefficiencies in raw material handling and logistics, leading to high costs and environmental impacts. The proposed solution includes installing fixed pipelines and preventive maintenance to reduce virgin material consumption and enhance operational efficiency. The results show that adopting these practices can yield significant cost savings and promote sustainability.Item Logística Reversa de Pós-Consumo de Bateria de Celular(INSTITUTO DE TECNOLOGIA, 2012) SILVA, Carlos Américo de Souza; LEITE, Jandecy Cabral; VIEIRA, Kellen Bicho; MAGALHÃES, Edilson MarquesThis study examines reverse logistics as a tool for sustainable development, focusing on the proper disposal of mobile phone batteries, which contain heavy metals harmful to the environment. The research analyzed manufacturers, mobile operators, and consumers in the Manaus Industrial Pole (PIM), identifying challenges such as low consumer participation in the return process, despite the availability of return channels. The results emphasize the need for awareness campaigns and better-structured reverse channels to reduce improper disposal and promote recycling.Item Metodologia de avaliação da qualidade do ruído no posto de trabalho baseada em lógica fuzzy(INSTITUTO DE TECNOLOGIA, 2010) NOGUEIRA, Maria Amélia Costa Saraiva; COSTA JÚNIOR, Carlos Tavares da; LEITE, Jandecy Cabral.; Prof. Dr. Rui Guilherme Cavaleiro de Macedo AlvesThis paper proposes a methodology based on fuzzy logic to evaluate noise quality in industrial workplaces, considering variables such as noise level and working hours. The model uses membership functions and fuzzy rules to classify the environment as "satisfactory" or "at risk." The application of the method in a metalworking industry demonstrated its effectiveness in identifying unhealthy conditions, contributing to the prevention of occupational health problems.Item Metodologia de um programa de sugestão de melhoria(INSTITUTO DE TECNOLOGIA, 2011) BRITO, Orleans Marques de; SILVA, Carlos Americo de Souza; LEITE, Jandecy Cabral; Eduardo de Magalhães BragaThe article presents a methodology for a continuous improvement suggestion program, analyzing its implementation in an industry at the Manaus Industrial Hub. The program encourages employees to propose ideas for solving problems and innovating processes and products, generating benefits such as cost reduction and increased competitiveness. Results from the first year show 447 suggestions submitted, with 266 implemented, resulting in savings of BRL 98,253.00.Item Estudo Comparativo dos Processos Produtivos entre Linhas em Série e Células(INSTITUTO DE TECNOLOGIA, 2010) SOARES, José Josimar; LEITE, Jandecy Cabral; FARIA, Marlene Araujo de; Profa. Dra. Maria Adrina Paixão de Souza da Silva. The aim of this study is a comparative study of the implementation of a cell line with layout type “Y”; originally introduced “U”; in a series of line company that produces automotive sound, in the Industrial Pole of Manaus. By some indicators, we obtained a validation of the benefits generated by the manufacturing system cell, eliminating losses, improving productivity and motivating internal employees.Item Estudo dos Calços Infláveis de Filmes de Polietileno (PE) como substitutos dos Calços de Poliestireno (EPS) utilizados hoje nas Embalagens de Produtos Eletroeletrônicos(INSTITUTO DE TECNOLOGIA, 2010) OLIVEIRA, Macêdo Santos de; SILVA, José Antônio S.; LOPES, Antônio Dimael de Almeida; MONTEIRO, Alberto de Castro; DELON, José Alain; Prof Dr. Walter Barra Junior"This ongoing research involves a study using various types of nationally produced polyethylene (PE) films with different thicknesses to be applied as air cushions for protective padding in electronic product packaging. The aim is to replace the commonly used expanded polystyrene (EPS) padding with inflatable PE padding, which offers advantages such as lower cost, efficiency, low manufacturing cost, excellent mechanical performance, and full recyclability. The study compares the two types of padding in terms of logistics, storage, cost, and production efficiency."Item Otimização do processo de manufatura de modem 3G usando o Tecnomatix Plant Simulation como ferramenta de simulação(INSTITUTO DE TECNOLOGIA, 2011) SILVA, Carlos Americo de Souza; LEITE, Jandecy Cabral; VIEIRA, Kellen Bicho; Prof Dr. Walter Barra JuniorThis paper presents a manufacturing simulation model based on real production data, using the Tecnomatix Plant Simulation software to optimize resources and improve the performance of a 3G modem assembly line. The method included collecting real data, creating a virtual environment, and analyzing results to identify bottlenecks and propose improvements. The results demonstrated the efficiency of simulation in reducing costs and increasing productivity, providing support for strategic decisions.
