Item Adequação de Tempos e Métodos em Montagem de Componente para Motocicletas(Instituto de Tecnologia, 2018) YOSHIDA, Thiago Hideki; LEITE, Jandecy CabralThis study proposes actions for the adjustment of times and methods in the assembly line of motorcycle components in an automotive company, using the Lean Production System and the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) tool. The research demonstrated that the correct application of these methodologies resulted in a 35.3% improvement in process efficiency, in addition to increasing knowledge and application of Lean within the organization. The work highlights the importance of waste elimination and resource optimization for business competitiveness in challenging economic scenarios.Item A Implementação do Sistema de Manufatura Enxuta em uma Montadora de Motocicletas Instalada na Zona Franca de Manaus(Instituto de Tecnologia, 2018) OLIVEIRA, Leandro Correia Santos de; MAGNO, Rui Nelson OtoniThe study presents the implementation of the Lean Manufacturing system in a high-displacement motorcycle manufacturer located in the Manaus Free Trade Zone. Using tools such as 5S, Kaizen, SMED, and line balancing, the research shows significant improvements in productivity, quality, and cost reduction, raising the company's Lean maturity to M=0.74 according to the SAE J4000 standard.Item Implantação de um Novo Layout de uma Linha de Montagem de Motocicletas Estruturado a partir da Metodologia MASP e Ferramentas Lean Manufacturing(Instituto de Tecnologia, 2021) OLIVEIRA, Edyones Barros de; MAGNO, Rui Nelson OtoniThis study aims to approach the implementation of a new layout of manufacturing process for high displacement motorcycles using the MASP methodology and Lean Manufacturing tools as a facilitator to adapt to market oscillations. The research was carried out in a motorcycle industry located in the Free Trade Zone of Manaus, using the PDCA method after SWOT analysis to define the project focus. The main results were: increased production flexibility, 67% reduction in WIP, industrial space savings, operator training, optimization of human resources, reduction in operational costs, and enhanced competitiveness in the national market.Item Aplicação de Ferramentas de Manufatura Enxuta em Processo de Montagem de Motocicletas no Polo Industrial de Manaus(Instituto de Tecnologia, 2020) DIMARIO, Raphael Kinzu; QUARESMA, João Nazareno NonatoThe target of this research is to highlight the application of Lean Manufacturing tools in the motorcycle assembly process. Productivity increase, line stoppage control, and 5S methodology are expected to be improved. The project was developed starting from literature research and case study, with direct observation in the shop floor collecting all data and analysis of them. Significant achievements were reached during and at the end of this project. It was increased 15% of 5S score. Line stoppage was reduced by 52% with important actions like standardization and homologation of a new method of material control. Significant increase of 37.5% in productivity and capacity raised the company to the next level. As an indirect result, a reduction of R$9,900/year in extra shipments due to material control improvement was achieved.
