Item Análise dos Desafios na Transição para Indústria 4.0: Um Estudo Sobre a Integração de Sistemas de Custeio em Ambientes Automatizados(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2025) SILVA, Maeli Oliveira da; FILHO, Nelson Marinelli; GUIMARÃES, Gil Eduardo; LEITE, Jandecy Cabral; FERREIRA, Matheus Rissardi; Jandecy Cabral LeiteThis paper analyzes the challenges faced during the transition from traditional costing systems to absorption costing systems in the context of Industry 4.0. Through the analysis of heat maps applied to an industrial costing spreadsheet for electronic components, the study identifies and categorizes inconsistencies that reflect broader structural challenges of industrial digital transformation. The results reveal seven critical categories of inconsistencies: interoperability issues, complexity in the allocation of indirect costs, implementation and maintenance costs, workforce training, real-time data management, compliance and security, and adaptation to the dynamics of Industry 4.0. It was concluded that such inconsistencies represent significant barriers to a successful transition, especially in industries with a high degree of automation.Item Proposta de Implantação da Tributação Ambiental como Ferramenta de Incentivo na Conservação e Desenvolvimento Sustentável(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2025) MONTEIRO, Ciro Allister Reis; LEITE, Jandecy Cabral; ALMEIDA, Luiz Fernando Correia de; Jandecy Cabral LeiteThis study examines the implementation of the Green IPTU as a public policy tool to promote environmental conservation and sustainable development in the city of Manaus. Using a qualitative and quantitative approach, a case study is conducted based on Bill No. 248/2013, which proposes partial tax exemption for properties adopting sustainable practices. The research discusses the legal, economic, and socio-environmental feasibility of environmental taxation, emphasizing the polluter-pays principle and the socio-environmental function of urban property. It analyzes fiscal impacts, social awareness, and eligibility criteria, contributing to the debate on environmental public policies in Amazonian urban contexts.Item Different Deterministic Optimization Methods for Economic Load Dispatch, Switching Off Less Efficient Generators(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2017) LEITE, Jandecy Cabral; CAMPOS, Paola SoutoThe Economic Load Dispatch (ELD) is one of the most important optimization and operational decision tasks in power systems. This study compares various deterministic mathematical optimization methods, including Lambda Iteration, Newton’s Method, and Quadratic Programming, to solve the ELD problem. The analysis considers both the traditional methodology and a proposed approach that includes turning off less efficient generators to reduce costs and improve system efficiency.Item Probabilidade e Estatística Aplicada a Software(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2022) LEITE, Jandecy Cabral; NASCIMENTO, Manoel Henrique ReisThis study proposes to analyze the use of didactic software by teachers and students as a pedagogical support tool in teaching and learning, aiming to alleviate the difficulties in learning descriptive statistics. The research was conducted at the Instituto Federal Ifam, in Manaus-AM, employing a quantitative method, questionnaires, direct observation, and the Minitab software. The results show that teachers in the mathematical sciences field often do not continuously use didactic software, which affects students' learning. The study highlights the importance of using computer labs and didactic tools to enhance statistics education.Item Maintenance Management with Application of Computational Intelligence Generating a Decision Support System for the Load Dispatch in Power Plants(IntechOpen, 2019) LEITE, Jandecy Cabral; NASCIMENTO, Manoel Henrique ReisThis chapter proposes the development of a computational tool to support load dispatch decisions based on the operational conditions of motors and generators in thermal power plants. The tool uses a fuzzy system to classify failure probabilities, based on indicators such as lubricating oil analysis, vibration analysis, and thermography of power generation equipment. The goal is not only to monitor the equipment's condition but also to take corrective actions to maintain service reliability and quality, considering the operating conditions of the equipment.
