    A Implantação do 5S em uma Confeitaria da Cidade de Manaus-AM, Utilizando Ferramentas da Qualidade

    The study presents the implementation of the 5S program in a bakery in Manaus-AM, aiming at organization, cleanliness and safety in the work environment. The research analyzed the organizational problems that affect productivity and quality, using the 5W2H quality tools and the PDCA cycle to implement improvements. The results demonstrated that the 5S program provided a more organized and productive environment, positively impacting product quality and customer satisfaction.

    The poor investment of funds in public works across different sectors in Brazil is evident due to the concentration of technologies and new methodologies, varying according to the current legislation in each state. This study proposes a blockchain-based methodology to increase confidence in financial data, enabling greater transparency, reliability, and public sector oversight. The blockchain network allows mirroring of revenues and expenses, making financial processes more secure and auditable.

    Different Deterministic Optimization Methods for Economic Load Dispatch, Switching Off Less Efficient Generators

    The Economic Load Dispatch (ELD) is one of the most important optimization and operational decision tasks in power systems. This study compares various deterministic mathematical optimization methods, including Lambda Iteration, Newton’s Method, and Quadratic Programming, to solve the ELD problem. The analysis considers both the traditional methodology and a proposed approach that includes turning off less efficient generators to reduce costs and improve system efficiency.

    Probabilidade e Estatística Aplicada a Software

    This study proposes to analyze the use of didactic software by teachers and students as a pedagogical support tool in teaching and learning, aiming to alleviate the difficulties in learning descriptive statistics. The research was conducted at the Instituto Federal Ifam, in Manaus-AM, employing a quantitative method, questionnaires, direct observation, and the Minitab software. The results show that teachers in the mathematical sciences field often do not continuously use didactic software, which affects students' learning. The study highlights the importance of using computer labs and didactic tools to enhance statistics education.

    The study analyzes the feasibility of implementing a photovoltaic system at the Eduardo Gomes International Airport in Manaus. Two project proposals were developed, considering technical, economic, and environmental factors. Simulation software was used to validate numerical values, and the results indicated that the system's implementation is feasible in all analyzed aspects.

    Development of Intelligent Devices for Communication and Data Pre-Processing in the Process of Electronic Meter Testing

    This study investigates the development of intelligent devices for communication and data pre-processing in electronic meter testing. The research addresses the lack of efficient communication between electronic devices and the need for information synchronization to support decision-making in Industry 4.0. The article presents the development of a Lean Manufacturing Intelligent System, integrating API and machine learning algorithms for demand forecasting and process optimization. The results include embedded firmware for data collection, forecasting algorithms, and an interactive dashboard for production monitoring. The proposed solution aims to reduce costs and improve product quality.

    Application of Deep Neural Network in Intelligent System with Production Dashboard

    Lean Manufacturing is a strategic methodology aimed at reducing production waste, ensuring product quality, and optimizing delivery times. However, many electronic meter manufacturing companies lack the necessary technologies to effectively implement this methodology. This study proposes the development of an Intelligent Lean Manufacturing System based on the requirements of a Manufacturing Execution System (MES), utilizing technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, the Internet of Things, and Embedded Systems. The system enables real-time decision-making for production control and management, reducing costs and improving product quality.

    Application of Ergonomic Work Analysis in Automotive Industry Processes Using Computational Intelligence for Decision Making

    Ergonomics has proven to be increasingly important for industrial processes worldwide. The evolution of machinery and equipment has caused several occupational health disorders at work. Therefore, it is extremely important to conduct a comprehensive reading of workstations and use ergonomic analysis tools. The objective of this article is to apply the technological resources of fuzzy logic to the results found in the Ergonomic Work Analysis (AET) in seven workstations in the automotive industry of the Manaus Industrial Pole (PIM). The applied methodology is based on the use of the Suzanne Rodgers ergonomic tool and mathematical models characterized by Fuzzy Inference for decision-making on various disorders that occur with workers' health. The results found in the "Suzanne Rodgers" ergonomic tool applied to the movement of upper and lower limbs, together with the application of Fuzzy Logic, showed that the linguistic variables by colors and the legend that classifies ergonomic risks are useful for comparison and discussion of the importance of ergonomic processes for the benefit of the worker in the automotive industry.

    Analyzing data processing methods and ensuring consistent results is hard work for scientists. The optimization of a process makes a difference regardless of the area being worked on. This research used a comparative method of dispersion analysis to evaluate the performance of two fuzzy modeling tools: the Fuzzylite library and the MatLab® Fuzzy Toolbox. The case study was conducted with the School Adventurers application, which uses the Fuzzylite library for fuzzy inferences. The results indicated that Fuzzylite showed superior performance in terms of dispersion of performance indicators.
