Item Aplicação do DEMATEL para avaliação das barreiras à robotização no abastecimento de materiais em indústria de componentes eletrônicos no Polo Industrial de Manaus(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2024) COSTA, Julianny Oliveira da; RODRIGUEZ, Carlos Manoel TaboadaThe growing need for industrial modernization has highlighted the importance of robotization in production processes, especially in the Manaus Industrial Pole (PIM), one of Brazil's main industrial complexes. Despite the potential benefits for competitiveness and operational efficiency, the implementation of robotic technologies faces obstacles in the region's electronics component industries. This technological gap, in an increasingly automated global scenario, raises questions about the factors hindering the modernization of these industrial processes. This study focuses on the barriers to robotization in material supply in production lines in the electronics component sector of the Manaus Industrial Pole, a critical process for operational efficiency. To this end, a systematic literature review was conducted, aiming to outline the current state of academic research on the subject and identify a set of barriers to the implementation of robotization. These barriers were categorized, selected, and legitimized by industry and academic experts through structured questionnaires applied via Google Forms. The responses obtained from the legitimation of the barriers by experts and the application of the Decision Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory (DEMATEL) methodology allowed the most relevant barriers to be prioritized for further evaluation. This process was fundamental to direct the research efforts and ensure that the results were relevant to the context of the Manaus Industrial Pole. The results highlighted three main barriers as the most impactful: high initial costs, cultural resistance within organizations, and lack of adequate technological infrastructure. The DEMATEL method also revealed how these factors interrelate, influencing the adoption of robotic technologies. It is expected that the findings of this research will provide valuable subsidies to overcome these challenges, facilitating the integration of robotic technologies into the production processes of the PIM and strengthening the competitiveness of the sector in the region.Item Avaliação das barreiras à implementação da Indústria 4.0 no setor de linha branca do Polo Industrial de Manaus utilizando o método DEMATEL(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2024) ANDRADE, Sheyla Cardoso; RODRIGUEZ, Carlos Manoel TaboadaThe current era of technological revolution, known as Industry 4.0, is profoundly transforming economic sectors through the integration of technologies such as artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things (IoT), big data, advanced robotics, and additive manufacturing. This transformation enhances efficiency and innovation capacity in industries but also requires significant investments in technological infrastructure and workforce training. The Manaus Industrial Pole (PIM), one of the main industrial centers in Latin America, faces challenges in adopting Industry 4.0, especially in the white goods sector, a segment of great economic importance to the region. The absence of practices from this new industrial era compromises the region's competitiveness and economic development. To understand these challenges, this study employs a mixed-method approach, combining qualitative and quantitative methods. The research utilizes the DEMATEL (Decision Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory) tool to analyze the barriers to implementing Industry 4.0 in the white goods sector of PIM. The applied methodology identified the main challenges, such as the lack of technological infrastructure, the need for professional training, and organizational resistance to adopting new technologies. The results showed that these barriers are interconnected and directly influence the feasibility of digital transformation in the local industry. Identifying the barriers to the adoption of Industry 4.0 is crucial for proposing solutions that safeguard jobs and promote industrial progress. The research employed a mixed approach, combining qualitative and quantitative methods. Initially, barriers were identified based on global literature, which were subsequently validated by industry experts. Then, the application of the DEMATEL methodology revealed significant barriers to the adoption of Industry 4.0 in the Manaus Trade Zone, such as the lack of technological infrastructure, the need for workforce training, cybersecurity concerns, and high implementation costs. Additionally, factors like resistance to change and interoperability act as obstacles that impede technological advancement. The study provides a useful framework for managers, helping them understand these barriers and the relationships between them.Item Barreiras à robotização no Polo Industrial de Manaus: uma análise exploratória utilizando Metodologia DEMATEL(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2025) COSTA, Julianny Oliveira da; TABOADA RODRIGUEZ, Carlos Manoel; LEITE, Jandecy CabralIndustrial robotization represents a strategic challenge for the Manaus Industrial Hub (PIM), particularly in the electronic components sector. This study investigated the main barriers to implementing robots in production line supply through a systematic literature review, complemented by expert validation. The DEMATEL methodology was applied to establish the interrelationships between these barriers, identifying economic, technical, organizational, and human resource obstacles. The results highlighted that Technological Aspects represent the main challenges, followed by Flexibility and Adaptability Aspects and Financial and Economic Aspects. Overcoming these barriers requires an integrated approach that includes targeted investments, technological training, and strengthening an adaptable organizational culture.
