Item Promoting Development and Environmental Awareness in Children with Disabilities: An Approach with Adapted Physical Education and Fuzzy Logic(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2024) CAMPOS, Paola Souto; LEITE, Jandecy CabralThis study aimed to develop a fuzzy logic model to evaluate the impact of interventions in Adapted Physical Education and Environmental Education on the development of children with disabilities, covering physical, cognitive, and environmental awareness aspects. Scenario simulations mimicking real conditions and incorporating variables such as motor coordination and understanding of environmental concepts were implemented. The interventions were evaluated using fuzzy rules to measure the impacts on various development dimensions. Although the model was not applied practically with children, validation tests suggest its future applicability in practical studies. Results indicate that integrated and balanced interventions can effectively improve both physical and cognitive development. Fuzzy logic proved to be a robust tool for detailed progress evaluation, indicating that the developed model can significantly contribute to inclusive pedagogical practices and guide educational policies for children with disabilities while reinforcing sustainability in environmental education.Item Educação e Sustentabilidade no Currículo do Curso Técnico em Edificações: Implementação e Desafios(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2023) SILVA, Eicilene Costa da; SILVA, Simone da; LEITE, Jandecy CabralIncreasingly, humanity has established a predatory relationship with nature due to the consumerist and capitalist model of production. As a result of this lifestyle, humanity is rapidly approaching a scenario of environmental disaster. Teaching and learning how to take care of the world, how to care for the collective, how to reduce, recycle, and reuse should be themes addressed in schools in a relevant and effective way. This would not only raise awareness among students but also among the entire faculty of educational institutions, the professionals who work in them, the community, society, and the world. Only through education will we be able to cultivate behaviors and habits consistent with sustainability. To achieve this, the curriculum needs to be restructured, allowing for an integrated approach to incorporate sustainability concepts and sustainable development with school knowledge and experiences. Considering that the disciplines of the Pedagogical Project Course (PPC) of the Integrated Technical Course in Buildings do not currently include the theme of sustainability, this work aims to identify and propose the inclusion of teaching sustainability concepts and sustainable development in the syllabi of technical courses in the integrated modality in buildings within the civil construction area of the Federal Institute of Amazonas (IFAM).Item Environmental Education: The 3R’s (Three R’s) in the First Year of Fundamental Education(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2022) SILVA, Mey Ling Oliveira da; SILVA, Simone da; LEITE, Jandecy Cabral; LEITE, Jandecy CabralThis study addresses environmental education applied to elementary education, focusing on the implementation of the 3R’s concept (Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle). The research analyzes children's perception of the environment and how education can shape critical and aware citizens. The study was conducted with first-year elementary students using interactive activities, digital games, workshops, and discussions. The results indicate that environmental education, when inserted in a didactic and playful manner, significantly contributes to the development of sustainable attitudes and the understanding of waste reduction importance.Item Perspectiva da Educação Ambiental no Ensino Fundamental: Um Estudo de Caso(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2023) JANUÁRIO, Caroline Araújo da Costa; PAIVA, Ana Paula Cardoso Queiroz de; LIMA, Alexandra Amaro de; LEITE, Jandecy CabralAlthough environmental education is a relevant topic, it is still treated insufficiently and ineffectively in schools. Environmental education is a powerful ally in environmental preservation, but few people have access to this type of information, making it difficult to shape environmentally conscious and responsible citizens. This study proposes the development of an educational and functional booklet to introduce environmental education in elementary school, covering aspects such as environmental legislation, duties, and citizens' rights. The booklet was developed through visits and meetings with educators and students, and its effectiveness was evaluated through debates and questionnaires, showing a positive impact on student awareness.Item Uso dos conceitos do Lean para a melhoria de serviços educacionais: O caso das escolas públicas do estado do Amazonas(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2024-11) COSTA, Lucas Lima da; VIEIRA JUNIOR, MiltonThis study proposes the application of Lean principles and tools to improve educational services in public schools in Amazonas. Focusing on eliminating waste and optimizing processes, it analyzes how Lean can improve quality, reduce costs and promote stakeholder satisfaction. Using case studies, the article highlights results such as reducing waste, increasing efficiency and organization, and challenges related to implementation in educational contexts, emphasizing the importance of adaptive and collaborative approaches.Item Perspectiva da educação ambiental no ensino fundamental: um estudo de caso(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2022-06-27) JANUÁRIO, Caroline Araújo da Costa; LIMA, Alexandra Amaro de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6915958689972413Although it is a topic considered relevant, the environment is still treated in an insufficient and ineffective manner at school. Environmental legislation is a powerful ally in the care and preservation of the environment, in addition to providing the necessary information on the duties and rights of individuals regarding this very important topic, however, few people have access to this type of information, which makes it more difficult to educate citizens with environmental awareness and responsibility. Therefore, after some meetings with educators and students, a didactic and functional booklet will be developed, with easy-to-understand language, with the aim of introducing environmental legislation and its main aspects in elementary education, in an attempt to train knowledgeable citizens of their duties and rights to the environment, in addition to favoring the dialogue at home, with parents, permeate issues such as environmental legislation, and sanctions in case of noncompliance, thus disseminating the knowledge acquired. For the creation of the booklet to be possible, some visits will be made for dialogue and lecture with educators and a meeting with students to carry out the study of Environmental Law, with the help of the material that will be manufactured. The level of satisfaction and effectiveness with the executed project will be evaluated after a debate with the students, who will be much more aware and concerned with the legislation that protects the environment.
