The results highlight significant improvements in production efficiency, cost reduction, better working conditions, and enhanced industrial sustainability. Furthermore, the study discusses the social and economic implications of automation, emphasizing the need for workforce reskilling and adaptation to new technological demands. It is concluded that the strategic integration of robotic systems and digital technologies not only enhances industrial competitiveness but also fosters a safer and more ergonomic working environment, aligned with the trends of smart manufacturing.Item Estudo de caracterização da eficiência produtiva nas indústrias de montagem de eletroeletrônicas do Polo Industrial de Manaus por meio do cálculo do OEE – caso de estudo de automação(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2024) MONTEIRO, Isabela Zanotto; MARINELLI FILHO, NelsonThis study presents the implementation of Industry 4.0 enabling technologies, with an emphasis on the use of Digital Twins and the automation of OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) calculation, applied to an electronic board assembly line at the Manaus Industrial Complex (PIM). The objective was to develop a solution capable of identifying, in real time, the times and reasons for production stops, aiming to optimize industrial processes and reduce operational costs. The data was collected through IoT sensors installed in the production lines, integrated into a digital platform that virtually replicated the manufacturing plant in a Digital Twin system. The OEE was automatically calculated based on the three main indicators: Availability, Performance, and Quality. Simulations in the virtual environment identified production bottlenecks and allowed predictive actions to avoid failures and optimize machine performance. The results, obtained over 80 days of monitoring, showed progress in production efficiency indicators, with a reduction in unscheduled downtime, dynamic adjustment of production parameters, and improvement in product quality, positively impacting sustainability.Item Proposed checklist for the implementation of the SMT component assembly process(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2024) CRUZ JUNIOR, Davi Clementino da; VIEIRA JUNIOR, MiltonThe manufacture of electronic products has evolved significantly over time, starting with wire assembly, through THT (Through Hole Technology), and reaching SMT (Surface Mount Technology), following the trend towards the miniaturization of electronic components. The complete SMT production process generally consists of three distinct stages: solder paste application, component positioning, and solder reflow to electrically connect the components to the board. The manufacture of electronic boards using surface mount technology is the most up-to-date, especially with the advent of Industry 4.0, which is increasingly raising the level of investment required to purchase the equipment/machines that make up a fully automated assembly line. However, it is common to find inefficient SMT lines, increasing manufacturing costs. This paper aims to present an efficient implementation system, considering everything from Design for Manufacturing (DFM) to Start Up, including technical information on the board and the components to be inserted into it, through the programming of assembly equipment.Item Análise decisória para implementação de estratégias integradas para a redução de setup em processos industriais utilizando lógica fuzzy(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2024) SOUZA, Vanessa Silva; ALENCAR, David Barbosa de; SILVA, Ítalo Rodrigo Soares; LEITE, Jandecy CabralThis article explores the application of Fuzzy Logic as a decision support tool for implementing integrated strategies aimed at reducing setup times in industrial processes. The study was conducted in a company in the Manaus Industrial Park, in the electronics sector, and developed a computational model based on Fuzzy Logic to analyze variables affecting setup time and production efficiency. Two scenarios are compared: a traditional production line operated exclusively by humans and an automated line with human-robot interaction. The research used Plant Simulation software to model and simulate these scenarios, evaluating indicators such as productivity, costs, operator fatigue, and safety. The results showed a significant increase in productivity, improved working conditions, and greater sustainability. Social and economic impacts were also discussed, emphasizing the need for workforce retraining and the promotion of safer and more ergonomic work environments.Item Anthropometric And Ergonomic Analysis Applied To An Industrial Production Manual Insertion Line In The Electronics Segment(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2023) FERNANDES, Raulchelison; LIMA, Roberval; LEITE, Jandecy CabralThe principle of ergonomic work analysis is to identify and prevent possible illnesses that develop slowly due to repetitive movements, unfavorable postures, uncomfortable furniture, and visual discomfort, resulting in loss of productivity, employee dissatisfaction, and increased costs. This study applied ergonomic and anthropometric analysis to the production line of a company in the electrical and electronics sector, aiming to promote improvements in workstations to enhance the quality of life, well-being, and safety of employees. The methodology included an anthropometric assessment of the company's population, analysis of body movements, implementation of ergonomic concepts, and monitoring of productivity results after improvements. The results showed that the targets for productivity, quality, and absenteeism were achieved after the implementation of ergonomic improvements.Item Proposta de lista de verificação para a implementação do processo de montagem de componentes com tecnologia SMT(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2024) CRUZ JUNIOR, Davi Clementino; VIEIRA JUNIOR, MiltonThe manufacturing of electronic products has evolved over time, reaching Surface Mount Technology (SMT), essential for the miniaturization of electronic components. The inadequate working environment and furniture can also lead to reduced productivity in companies, because if not adjusted to biotypes can lead to the occurrence of occupational diseases. One of the great challenges of ergonomics applied to work is to design or adapt workstations and tools to the morphological diversity of the population. The accurate analysis of the various segments is done according to the techniques of anthropometry, which is the study of the physical measurements of the human body. This research aimed to "apply the ergonomic analysis of work (EAW) in the production line of a company in the electro-electronic segment to promote improvements in the workplace aiming at the quality of life, well-being, and safety of the employees". In the study methodology, a population survey of the company's biotypes was carried out through anthropometric evaluation; the human body movements were analyzed, with emphasis on the upper limbs, according to the conditions of their workstation; ergonomic concepts were implemented in the production line; the workstations were adapted to the employees; and, finally, the results of productivity were monitored, followed up, and compared after the ergonomic improvements were implemented. To analyze the results of this research, a sampling of 375 employees was carried out with emphasis on the manual insertion production line. The anthropometric analysis showed that there is a difference between male and female biotypes. With the female more concentrated around the mean and the male presenting a larger tail of the distribution. The ergonomic analysis of the work identified the need for adaptation, alteration and changes in the workstations that start in the equipment permeating with the improvement of the posture of the employees that operate in the production lines. After the implementation of the improvements, the ex-post analysis showed that the company's proposed targets for productivity, quality, and absenteeism were met, with averages of 780.2 units/manhour, 281.4 pieces/million, and 1.8%, respectively.
