Item Proposta de uso dos conceitos do lean para a melhoria de serviços educacionais em escolas públicas do estado do Amazonas(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2024) COSTA, Lucas Lima da; VIEIRA JUNIOR, MiltonGiven the challenges faced by public schools in the state of Amazonas in offering quality educational services, it is essential to adopt innovative approaches to diagnose problems, propose solutions and promote improvements. The lean concept, originally developed in the industrial sector with a focus on eliminating waste and optimizing processes, is a suitable methodology for improving educational services. This study proposes the application of lean principles and tools with the aim of increasing the quality of the services provided, reducing costs and increasing the satisfaction of those primarily involved in the educational process, analyzing their effectiveness in the context of public schools in Amazonas. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with employees of the institutions, with the aim of identifying waste that impacts on the services provided. The study analyzes Lean principles and their applicability in the educational context, with case studies in educational institutions to provide a practical analysis of the implementation of these concepts. The results indicate that these practices can reduce waste, increase operational efficiency, and improve school environment organization, contributing to a more effective and sustainable management of educational resources.
