    Physics teaching in high school is still restricted to school textbooks. For most students, science seems out of context for their reality. In the specific case of the Tikuna ethnic group, the research addresses how the subject of physics is developed and how it can be improved considering the context of the students. The methodology involved the production of materials and the use of practical activities based on traditional exercises of the subject. The experiments were conducted by teachers and students, resulting in a contextualized approach and practical alternatives for high school education in indigenous schools.
