The study evaluates the navigability of the Solimões River in the stretch between Manaus and Coari, highlighting critical factors influencing fluvial transport, such as sandbanks, landslides, and seasonal flow variations. Based on field surveys and geographic analyses, the research identifies three critical navigation points and describes the types of vessels operating in the region. The results contribute to understanding the challenges of waterway transport in the Amazon, especially during low-water periods.
