(Instituto de Tecnologia, 2018) Alexandra Priscila Costa Pessoa; Rui Nelson Otoni Magno
The research addresses the application of Linear Programming as a tool to optimize spare parts inventory control in an airline organization. The study seeks to minimize costs and maximize logistics efficiency, considering operational constraints and the demand for parts. The methodology employed involves the formulation of mathematical models based on Linear Programming to determine the ideal quantity of parts to be kept in stock, ensuring the necessary availability without excesses that could financially impact the organization. The case study presents a practical application of the proposed modeling in an airline company, demonstrating the benefits of the approach. The results indicate that the use of Linear Programming can lead to a significant reduction in operating costs, improving inventory planning and management. The research contributes to the literature on supply management by providing a model that can be adapted to different business contexts that deal with the maintenance and replacement of critical parts.

(Instituto de Tecnologia, 2018) Rivanildo Duarte Almeida; Jandecy Cabral Leite
The growing demand for electrical energy and the increased use of non-linear loads in distribution systems have intensified the generation of harmonic distortions, compromising the quality of the energy supplied. This work presents an analysis of the harmonic impacts on medium-voltage electrical energy distribution networks, using computational intelligence techniques for modeling, simulation and diagnosis. Methods based on artificial neural networks and genetic algorithms were applied to identify and mitigate harmonic distortions, providing an efficient and automated approach for electrical energy quality control. The results demonstrate the feasibility of applying these techniques, evidencing improvements in the identification of distortions and in the definition of strategies to minimize their adverse effects on the electrical system.

(Instituto de Tecnologia, 2018) SILVA, João; SOUZA, Maria
This study investigates the application of time analysis techniques and methods to reduce waste and improve efficiency in production processes. Using a case study in an industrial company, tools such as the Yamazumi diagram and the GBO chart were adopted to identify and minimize variations that result in wasted time and resources. The results demonstrate a 37.5% increase in labor efficiency, reduced operating costs, and improved product quality. In addition, the implementation of lean production practices contributed to a change in organizational culture, encouraging a more structured approach to continuous process optimization. The study concludes that the adoption of analysis and continuous improvement methodologies can bring significant benefits to the industry, recommending future research focused on balancing operations, improving workplace ergonomics, and applying the Kaizen method.

Sistema Automático de Balanceamento de Unidades Consumidoras Monofásicas Conectadas na Rede de Distribuição de Baixa Tensão
(Instituto de Tecnologia, 2018) Alex Sander Leocádio Dias; Manoel Henrique Reis Nascimento
The dissertation presents an automatic system for load balancing in single-phase consumer units connected to the low-voltage distribution network. The objective is to minimize imbalances between phases, reducing technical losses and improving the efficiency of the electrical system. To this end, an approach based on fuzzy logic is used, which allows real-time decision-making to redistribute loads between phases. The study includes simulations and tests in a controlled environment, demonstrating the effectiveness of the proposed method in optimizing load balancing. The results indicate that the system can significantly contribute to improving the quality of the electrical energy supplied, reducing voltage variations and increasing the useful life of the network equipment.

CONSTRUÇÃO DE TECNOLOGIA EDUCACIONAL EM RESIDENCIAL DO PROGRAMA DE DESENVOLVIMENTO URBANO E INCLUSÃO SOCIOAMBIENTAL DE MANAUS
(Instituto de Tecnologia, 2018) SILVA, Márcia Regina Praia Marins da; SANTOS, Lourivaldo da Silva
The present research was developed in a complex of apartments located in the residential Avelino Pereira, project of the housing area AH1A, neighborhood Jorge Teixeira 3a (third) stage, East zone, in the city of Manaus. The study counted on content analysis and direct observation techniques, the use of semi-structured questionnaire. The results of the research were analyzed using the cadastre of residents benefiting from the program as a data source. In order to meet the quantitative approach of this study, we chose to work with a sample of fifty (50) residents of both sexes and in the age group of eighteen (18) to sixty (60) years in a randomized stratified sample with survey and study of opinion, analyzing bibliography and previous studies of the place of residence, its physical conditions and facilities, directly affected by the informal settlements. The comparison of results after application of the questionnaire and surveys of statistical data in relation to the data collected by the program confirm the need for the construction of educational technology and multiprofessional monitoring in resettlement areas.

MAPEAMENTO DO FLUXO DE VALOR DE UM PROCESSO PRODUTIVO DE PLACAS ELETRÔNICAS COM USO DA LÓGICA DIFUSA
(Instituto de Tecnologia, 2018) ARAÚJO, Caio César Luan Silva; AZEVEDO, Manoel S. Santos; LEITE, Jandecy Cabral
Global competition in the electronics industry has required the optimization of production processes to maintain competitiveness. This study proposes the use of Value Stream Mapping (VSM) combined with Fuzzy Logic to identify and eliminate waste in the production of printed circuit boards at a company in the Manaus Industrial Pole (PIM). VSM allowed mapping the current state of the process, identifying bottlenecks, and designing a future state with improvements. Fuzzy Logic aided in the precise analysis of data, resulting in cost reduction, fewer defects, and optimized production time.

Desenvolvimento de um Sistema de Baixo Custo para Monitoramento da Qualidade do Ar Usando Tecnologia Embarcada
(Instituto de Tecnologia, 2018) MELLO, José Carlos Nunes de; LEITE, Jandecy Cabral
The objective of this work was to develop a low-cost system for monitoring air quality using embedded technology, focusing on the use of the Arduino UNO board for Environmental Monitoring. Commercially available sensors were used, including the DHT11 temperature sensor, BMP180 atmospheric pressure sensor, MICS 2614 ozone sensor, MICS 2714 nitrogen dioxide sensor, MQ-7 carbon monoxide sensor and PM2.5 PPD42 NS particle sensor. The methodology included a literature review on air pollution and Arduino UNO technologies, in addition to the construction and testing of a functional prototype, composed of sensors, a micro SD reader module, an LCD display and a contact matrix, interconnected to the Arduino board. The research was classified as experimental and applied. Of the six indicators proposed, only the NO2 and particulate matter data could not be compared to those of a professional station due to technical failures in the latter's meters. The results showed that the use of Arduino for air quality monitoring provides a more affordable solution than conventional instruments, ensuring a satisfactory level of reliability, practicality and flexibility. The study also identified challenges faced during implementation and proposed improvements and recommendations for future research in the area of atmospheric sensing. It is concluded that the developed system demonstrated viability and met the established objectives.
