This study evaluates the impact of traffic accident statistics based on reports from institutions managing public policies. WHO identified high mortality and sequelae rates from accidents, financially impacting countries. The research analyzes historical data, highlighting the need for public policies based on in-depth studies to reduce accidents and implement effective interventions.

Given that Brazil has a long tradition of family farming, highlighting its economic and social relevance, the study analyzes how legal protection can support the development of family farming. The research discusses land regulation, the legal challenges faced by the sector, and the absence of effective public policies. The results show that Brazilian legislation is still precarious in protecting family farming and that greater governmental support is needed.
