Item Práticas de Gestão da Qualidade e Desempenho Empresarial nas Organizações através do Programa de Certificação de Empresas (PROCEM) do Maranhão(Instituto de Tecnologia, 2020) MALUF, Rachid Santos; MAGNO, Rui Nelson OtoniThe study analyzes the quality management practices and business performance acquired by companies when implementing a quality management system, seeking certification and recertification in the Company Certification Program (PROCEM) of Maranhão. The research, of a quantitative nature, was conducted with 40 companies that had at least three years of participation in the program. The results indicate that companies significantly improved their performance after certification, especially regarding production processes, delivery times, supplier relationships, customer satisfaction, and integration with other program modules. Quality management is treated as a source of competitive advantage, being applied as a basis for differentiation in organizations.Item Análise da Aplicação do Ciclo PDCA em Processos de Captação de Alunos em uma Faculdade de Manaus(Instituto de Tecnologia, 2020) MELGUEIRO, Priscilla Mendonça de Lima; QUARESMA, Sil Franciley dos SantosThe great transformations that Brazilian education has undergone have contributed very positively to the advances achieved in both the public and private sectors. The way private universities are shown and seen within the educational market makes all the difference within this sector. Its solidity and positive results interfere in the candidates' choices when choosing an institution to enter a college. Thus, this work aimed to analyze the effectiveness of the activities of the Commercial Process, from the application of several PDCA Cycles in a Faculty of Manaus (face-to-face modality). The methodology of this research has a qualitative character and was based on the development of the PDCA cycle, which consists of four distinct phases: Planning, Development, Verification and Action, in addition to the GUT and Ishikawa quality tool. All fundraising and retention practices were analyzed and updated by the faculty management, and from there, a new work proposal was launched to solve the problem in question. Thus, with this research it was possible to see that, with the implementation of quality tools, the results were positive, as the capture and retention goals were surpassed, showing the success and effectiveness of the PDCA cycle. It was also possible to perceive that, which in fact lead 42% of the students to not renew with the college are due to financial problems; 19% changes in bank slips from one month to another; 12% changes to other states; 18% stated lack of vocation / identification with the course, and 9% lack of practicality and clarification at the time of enrollment.Item Melhoria de Processo de Produção através da Aplicação de Métodos de Ferramentas da Qualidade em uma Linha de Confecção de Uniformes Industriais(Instituto de Tecnologia, 2020) COSTA, Roger Roberto Corrêa; SOUZA, José Antônio da SilvaInstitutions are subjected to the challenge of surviving in an increasingly competitive and demanding market, resulting from changes in the social, political, political and technological spheres, especially within the Covid-19 pandemic context. Quality appears, in this current scenario, as a timely and relevant theme. This research aimed to implement quality management methods in a line of confections of industrial uniforms to optimize processes. Aspiring to achieve the proposed objectives, a methodological choice was made through a quantitative and qualitative research, through a case study carried out in a company that manufactures uniforms at the Industrial Pole located in the city of Manaus-Amazonas. The survey involved eighteen employees and when asked about knowledge related to quality management, 22% demonstrated knowledge, to the detriment of 78%. About 83% of respondents consider the quality system to be efficient, while 17% disagree. Concerning the opening of the company to new ideas, 55% responded positively, while 45% do not feel at ease. Regarding the factors that cause bottlenecks in the process and rework, 50% reported that the finish does not meet the requirements, 33% reported a failure to insert the push button and 17% reported a failure in embroidery. The application of tools of quality helped to identify bottlenecks and analyze productivity. Solutions have been proposed to increase the efficiency and efficiency of the examined industry, especially in terms of after-sales.Item Aplicação de Ferramentas da Qualidade como Solução de Acúmulo de Insumos Defeituosos na Produção de Placas Eletrônicas(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2019) SOUZA, Kleyse dos Santos da Silva; CUNHA, Edinaldo José de SousaInventory control is essential to ensure congruence between physical and systematized stock, aiming at quality and continuous productivity improvement. This study addresses the problem of information divergence in the inventory of a multinational white goods company, resulting in excessive stock, material obsolescence, and lack of FIFO. The applied methodology included the use of quality tools and the PDCA cycle, resulting in a reduction of material costs by R$ 2,085,252.94 and the need for only 37% of the excess inventory value for operational turnover.Item Gestão da Manutenção como Ferramenta de Controle de Qualidade na Indústria de Duas Rodas(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2014) RIBEIRO, Ronei Nunes; FUJIYAMA, Roberto TetsuoThis work presents the importance of using quality management tools in Hidden Amazon company (HDAM), for managing continuous improvement in its production process. It thus explains that the continuous improvement of products and processes within enterprises is essential, so it is possible to remain on the market, with a view to competitiveness in a globalized market today. For these improvements to occur, it requires the use of some methods and tools, which are logic-sequence for achieving the desired goals. The study brings in its contribution the convenience and simplicity of quality management tools and the PDCA cycle (Planning, Implementation, Verification and Action / Practice), an English acronym, who for various reasons are used in the various organizational levels of business same business segment in question. At the conclusion of that study, the results achieved with the implementation of the tools and the gains of the goals achieved are shown.Item Proposta de Melhoria no Processo Produtivo Aplicando o Ciclo DMAIC em uma Empresa de Confecção de Pequeno Porte em Manaus(Instituto de Tecnologia, 2019) PONTES, Eriana Calderaro; QUARESMA, Sil Franciley dos SantosThis dissertation proposes improvements in the production process of a small apparel company in Manaus, using the Six Sigma DMAIC methodology. The study focused on standardizing processes, reducing material losses, and optimizing production. The application of the methodology covered the definition, measurement, and analysis phases, showing that DMAIC is compatible and efficient for small businesses in the apparel sector, ensuring the quality of products and services provided.Item Melhorias no Gerenciamento da Qualidade em um Processo Produtivo de Fita de Aço(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2018) LIMA, Elizangela da Costa; BRAGA, Eduardo de MagalhãesThe main objective of this work was to implement improvements in quality management in a steel strip production process. A study of the process was conducted to understand the operational workflow, the management of non-conforming products, and the tools used. Improvement actions were suggested, and the MPAS (Methodology of Problem Analysis and Solution) was implemented to solve the most critical problems. The results indicated a 60% reduction in the non-conforming product indicator in the year following the improvements, highlighting the importance of proper use of quality tools and continuous process monitoring.
