Item A Educação Ambiental Aplicada no Ensino Fundamental como Processo de Transformação Social em uma Escola Pública do Município de Tabatinga(Instituto de Ciências Exatas e Naturais, 2019) NUNES, Luciane Caetano; DEUS, Ricardo Jorge Amorim deEnvironmental education has been cited as a field of action capable of contributing to the transformation of contemporary society, collaborating with the development of actions aimed at minimizing socio-environmental degradation standards and establishing sustainable societies. This work proposes actions of environmental education in the 9th year of elementary school in a public school in the municipality of Tabatinga-Amazonas, as a process of social transformation. Action Research was used, with a qualitative method, and data collection instruments were semi-structured interviews and questionnaires applied to teachers and students. The results show the importance of environmental practices through a transversal and interdisciplinary work, valuing environmental education for the formation of critical citizens engaged with environmental issues.Item A Educação Ambiental no Contexto Escolar do Município de Benjamin Constant-AM: Desafios e Perspectivas(Instituto de Ciências Exatas e Naturais, 2018) CAMPOS, Sebastião Melo; ALVES, Claudio NahumThis study investigates the challenges and perspectives of the transversal theme "Environment" in the educational actions of three schools in the municipality of Benjamin Constant, Amazonas. The research, of a qualitative and bibliographic nature, aimed to promote environmental awareness through educational interventions, such as lectures, ecological walks, and playful activities, involving students, teachers, and the school community. The results indicate the need for a permanent interdisciplinary planning for environmental education, aiming at behavioral changes and the formation of conscious and responsible citizens towards the environment.Item A Importância da Literatura Infanto-Juvenil como Instrumento Formador de Reflexão para a Educação Ambiental(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2019) MAGALHÃES, Victor Hugo de Oliveira; BRASIL, Davi do Socorro BarrosOne of the objectives of Environmental Education (EE) is to train critical citizens who can fight for their rights and understand their duties, understand the importance of interpersonal relations and the preservation of the cultural and environmental environment. In a conception of transformative EE, school education is an environment of social change, where there is a transformation associated with values, cognitive patterns, democratic political action and economic relations. Although not solely responsible for this, the school prepares the new generations for the challenges of the world, as it can and should contribute to the formation and stimulation of citizen criticality and awareness of the population about social and environmental problems. Added to this is reading, which plays an important role in the formation of the subject, as it contributes to its reflective and transformative construction, since the child, when inserted in the world of reading, makes discoveries and later broadens the understanding of himself and herself. of the world around her. Thus, the objective was to produce three books (collection) of children and youth literature with Amazonian themes and environmental themes related to the region to encourage the formation of reflective students and sustainable practices. A qualitative methodology was used, with an exploratory and descriptive approach in addition to the bibliographic and documentary research that will support the elaboration and production of children's books. The reading of the works found was performed and their main results were subsequently emphasized together with the elaborated stories of the proposed collection. It is noteworthy that through the literature raised, that the truly transformative Environmental Education does not worry or prioritize the contents to be passed ("environmental"), but rather works with the construction of new ethical values, aesthetics and a conception of production. and work closer to the artistic way than the hegemonic ideas of productivity. In this sense, art enables a dialogue with the values and worldviews it brings.
