Item UTILIZAÇÃO DE SOFTWARE COMERCIAL PARA A OTIMIZAÇÃO DE FLUXO DE PRODUÇÃO(Instituto de Tecnologia, 2016) VIEIRA, Kellen Bicho; QUARESMA, João Nazareno NonatoThis study presents a case based on real production data, in which computer simulation was used to analyze the efficiency of the current physical layout. Using discrete event software, it was possible to visualize the assembly line and test strategies for layout restructuring. The method included on-site data collection, literature review, and computational modeling, resulting in the optimization of the production flow and the identification of improvements. Abstract: This study presents a case based on real production data, in which computer simulation was used to analyze the efficiency of the current layout. A discrete event software allowed a broader visualization of the assembly line and testing of layout restructuring strategies. The method included on-site data collection, literature review, and computational modeling, leading to production flow optimization and identification of improvements.Item Simulação e Otimização do Processo de Destilação Atmosférica de Petróleo(Instituto de Tecnologia, 2016) LISBOA, Síntia Maria Pinto; BATISTA, Clauderino da SilvaPetroleum atmospheric distillation is an essential refining process with complex characteristics due to multiple system variables. This study evaluated the behavior of key variables in the distillation process using Petro-SIM software simulation and meta-heuristic optimization techniques. Operational variables such as kerosene and diesel reflux and column top temperature were analyzed. The results identified the top temperature as the most significant variable, and applying genetic algorithms and simulated annealing maximized diesel flow to 1281.7 m³/d while maintaining product quality.Item Utilização do sistema Cook and Chill na produção de asas de frango fritas visando a redução do tempo no processo produtivo(Instituto de Tecnologia, 2018) SOUZA NETO, Fernando Matos de; QUARESMA, João Nazareno NonatoThis work aims to propose the adoption of the Cook and Chill system in large-scale food production, focusing on minimizing the delivery time of ready-to-eat food, using fried chicken wings as a case study. The system involves pre-preparation of the product, cooling to a safe temperature, vacuum packaging, and storage until regeneration, yielding a product with quality and safety comparable to freshly prepared food. The implementation reduced the preparation time of chicken wings by 40%, optimizing human resources and lowering production costs.Item Proposta de Otimização do Processo Produtivo em uma Microempresa do Setor Têxtil: Aplicação do Método Simplex de Programação Linear(Instituto de Tecnologia, 2019) LIMA, Fernanda dos Santos Mendonça; VIEGAS, Bruno MarquesDue to the high level of mortality of micro and small enterprises, as well as the important role of these companies in the economy, it is necessary to seek improvements in production processes and maximization of results. This work presents a proposal for optimizing the production process in a textile micro-enterprise by applying the simplex method of linear programming. To analyze this model, historical data were collected, objective functions and constraints were defined, as well as the projection of four scenarios, considering optimistic, pessimistic, and realistic projections for the future of the business. The results presented showed that optimization tools can help improve business results, such as reducing operating costs and increasing profit margins, which may reach up to 40.98% more than in the previous year.Item Proposta de uma Metodologia para a Otimização do Controle de Estoque de uma Empresa do Segmento Eletrônico(Instituto de Tecnologia, 2020) OLIVEIRA, David Felipe Santos; LEITE, Jandecy CabralInventory control management is considered a fundamental tool for the management of a company, as it allows processes to be managed efficiently with fewer resources and more savings. The present study aims to: identify and model the inventory control processes that already exist in the company, analyze the inventory that already exists in the company, describe the methodology for inventory control, and propose actions of the methodology that allow the corrections of inventory activities already identified. Therefore, it proposes a methodology for optimizing stock control that is able to define how much and when to buy the products. The implementation of the methodology produced a decrease of 30% in the problems of non-attendance, resulting in positive factors such as lean inventory, efficient customer service, increased capital turnover, and increased company profits.
