This work aims to apply a model of game theory in the optimization of processes to reduce the construction time of popular housing, demonstrating the management process of the agents involved in the construction context, optimizing collaboration and efficiency. The housing deficit and inadequate living conditions of low-income populations are problems exacerbated by unplanned population growth and lack of urban infrastructure, impacting quality of life. The research developed a model based on game theory to optimize construction processes, allowing the definition of cooperative and non-cooperative strategies among the agents involved. The methodology used was descriptive research with a quantitative approach, applying game models for simulation and decision-making analysis in the civil construction sector. The results proved that the application of game theory helps reduce the construction time of popular housing by encouraging cooperation among stakeholders, making the process more efficient and reducing waste. It is concluded that resource rationalization and the application of strategic incentives can transform competitive situations into opportunities for cooperation, promoting efficiency in the construction sector.

Optimization of the Manufacturing Process of Cardboard Packaging with Fuzzy Logic: Case Study Company in the Industrial Polo of Manaus
(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2022) FERNANDES, Everson Lima ALENCAR, David Barbosa de SANCHES, Antônio Estanislau PINTO JÚNIOR, José Roberto Lira; LEITE, Jandecy Cabral
This study arose from the need to optimize the manufacturing of cardboard packaging for LCD monitors, reducing assembly complexity and the number of box folds. The main objective was to decrease the number of folds while maintaining dimensional, geometric, and mechanical strength requirements. The methodology was exploratory and descriptive, using Fuzzy logic to validate new packaging layouts. Standard packaging designs were analyzed, and new models with fewer folds were proposed, undergoing resistance and quality tests. The results indicate that Fuzzy logic is effective in decision-making for production process optimization, reducing labor costs and increasing operational efficiency.

This work proposes the application of Game Theory to optimize processes and reduce the construction time of affordable housing. Given the growing housing deficit and the poor living conditions for low-income populations, the study aims to improve collaboration and efficiency in the construction sector. The methodology involved the development of a theoretical model for the sector, focusing on reducing delays and costs, as well as rationalizing decision-making in the construction process. The research, which is descriptive and quantitative in nature, aims to show how Game Theory can be a useful tool for decision-making, contributing to the reduction of construction time through cooperation among the agents involved. The developed model suggests that the application of incentives can transform competition into cooperation, resulting in a significant reduction in total construction time.
