Using a qualitative-quantitative approach, the research emphasizes the importance of ergonomics in preventing musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs), proposing measures to improve working conditions and reduce health risks.Item Proposed Monitoring System of Logistics Banking Control(INSTITUTO DE TECNOLOGIA, 2015) FERREIRA, Cloves Wanderlande Torres; ARAÚJO, Francis Taynã Silva; SANTOS, Marcio César Abreu dos; Jandecy Cabral LeiteAn electronic control system was proposed to monitor the inputs and outputs of documentation and pouches in the banking sector of CFM Bank. Methodological tools included documentary research, direct observation, interviews, and questionnaires across 135 agencies in four northern Brazilian states. The implementation aimed at reducing the risk of loss and delays, improving efficiency, and enhancing the control of bank documents.Item Uso do Controle Estatístico de Processo (CEP) na Gestão de Operações Produtivas em uma Indústria no Polo Industrial de Manaus(INSTITUTO DE TECNOLOGIA, 2015) OLIVEIRA, Sidney dos Santos; LEITE, Jandecy Cabral; SOUZA, José Antonio da Silva; OLIVEIRA, Rosimeire Freires Pereira; MAGALHÃES, Edilson MarquesMonitoring, fault detection, and defect visualization are strategic issues for product quality. The article demonstrates the use of Statistical Process Control (SPC) in managing productive operations, employing a methodology based on control chart analysis for production monitoring. The approach combines defect location graphs and visualizations, applied in a case study at a company in the Manaus Industrial Hub (PIM). Results show variability through statistical graphs, enabling corrections and improvements in production processes, enhancing company quality.Item Eco-efficiency in industry and PML plastic, reducing waste stretch film in production(INSTITUTO DE TECNOLOGIA, 2015) VASCONCELOS, Agna de Souza; COSTA, Elis Patrícia Silva; MONTEIRO, Mayna Carolina Alves; MAGALHÃES, Edilson MarquesThis study explores the application of Cleaner Production (CP) tools combined with eco-efficiency in the plastics industry, focusing on waste reduction in stretch film production. A quantitative case study identified inefficiencies in raw material handling and logistics, leading to high costs and environmental impacts. The proposed solution includes installing fixed pipelines and preventive maintenance to reduce virgin material consumption and enhance operational efficiency. The results show that adopting these practices can yield significant cost savings and promote sustainability.Item Logística Reversa de Pós-Consumo de Bateria de Celular(INSTITUTO DE TECNOLOGIA, 2012) SILVA, Carlos Américo de Souza; LEITE, Jandecy Cabral; VIEIRA, Kellen Bicho; MAGALHÃES, Edilson MarquesThis study examines reverse logistics as a tool for sustainable development, focusing on the proper disposal of mobile phone batteries, which contain heavy metals harmful to the environment. The research analyzed manufacturers, mobile operators, and consumers in the Manaus Industrial Pole (PIM), identifying challenges such as low consumer participation in the return process, despite the availability of return channels. The results emphasize the need for awareness campaigns and better-structured reverse channels to reduce improper disposal and promote recycling.Item Integração do sistema de gestão ambiental e a logística reversa em uma indústria de processo de reparação de pneus(INSTITUTO DE TECNOLOGIA, 2014) SILVA, Ullisses Siza; LIMA, Aline Maria Meiguins de; OLIVEIRA, Dênio Ramam Carvalho de; MENDES, Ronaldo Lopes Rodrigues; MAGALHÃES, Edilson MarquesReverse logistics is a conventional logistics area used as a strategic tool in the market and is essential for corporate environmental management, supported by ISO 14001 certification. This article analyzes the integration of reverse logistics and environmental management in a tire repair company in the Industrial Hub of Manaus (PIM). Using qualitative methods and a SWOT analysis, the study reveals that the integration efficiency is moderate to low, emphasizing the need for enhanced monitoring and continuous process reassessment.Item La importancia de las funciones de planificación y control de la producción en fabricación(INSTITUTO DE TECNOLOGIA, 2013) LIMA, Orlem Pinheiro de; MADURO, Márcia Ribeiro; LEITE, Jandecy Cabral; SILVA, Carlos Américo de Souza; Prof. Dr. Carlos Tavares da Costa JúniorThis article analyzes the importance of the functions of production planning and control (PPC) in the manufacturing sector. Based on a literature review of 14 national and international authors, the study identifies differences in the approaches to PPC functions, but emphasizes a general agreement on its relevance for coordinating planning and operational execution. It concludes that, regardless of the industry type, PPC plays a strategic role in identifying deviations, proposing corrections, and ensuring process efficiency.Item Modelo de Certificação Ambiental em Processos e Produtos Eletrônicos(INSTITUTO DE TECNOLOGIA, 2012) SILVA, Carlos Américo de Souza; LEITE, Jandecy Cabral; PALADINI, Edson Pacheco; VIEIRA, Kellen Bicho; Edinaldo José de Sousa CunhaThe article presents an environmental certification model (Green Partner) for electronic processes and products, aiming to eliminate or control hazardous substances such as heavy metals (cadmium, lead, chromium, and mercury). Based on Sony's SS-00259 standard, the study demonstrates the model's application in a company from the Manaus Industrial Hub, highlighting the integration of management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001) and the competitive and sustainable benefits of certification.Item Utilização do Método 10 M’s como Auxílio na Elaboração das Análises dos Pontos Críticos nos Processos Industriais(INSTITUTO DE TECNOLOGIA, 2015) OLIVEIRA, Rosimeire Freires Pereira; LEITE, Jandecy Cabral; SOUZA, José Antonio da Silva; OLIVEIRA, Sidney dos Santos; Profa.
