Item Aplicação do Método de Análise e Solução de Problemas (MASP) na Busca da Qualidade e Produtividade em uma Indústria de Móveis(Instituto de Tecnologia, 2018) Andréa Cláudia dos Anjos Martins; Prof. Dr. Jandecy Cabral LeiteThe dissertation addresses the application of the Problem Analysis and Solution Method (MASP) in a furniture industry, with the aim of improving quality and productivity. The study emphasizes the importance of Quality Tools in identifying and solving failures in production processes. The methodology used is based on a structured approach to problem analysis, following the MASP steps: problem identification, observation, analysis, action plan, execution, verification and standardization. The results demonstrate that the implementation of MASP allowed the identification of the main causes of the problems, enabling significant improvements in production efficiency and the quality of the final products. In addition, the study highlights the importance of employee involvement and the use of quantitative data to support decision-making. It is concluded that MASP is an effective tool for companies seeking to improve their production processes and achieve higher standards of quality and competitiveness in the market.Item Controle de Qualidade através de Ensaios Não Destrutivos por Líquidos Penetrantes em Peças Componentes de Motocicletas Soldadas Novas e Usadas(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2014) PAIS FILHO, Estevam Ferreira; FUJIYAMA, Roberto TetsuoNondestructive Testing (NDT) by Liquid Penetrant (LP) is an important tool for quality control of materials, widely used in industry. This work aimed to study the behavior of NDT by LP applied to quality control in component parts of motorcycles, welded new and used. The study was developed in four companies of the automotive two-wheeler segment in Latin America. After a literature review, comparative tests were performed on new and used parts, identifying factors that influence the results. It was concluded that used parts may present surface changes and retention of contaminants, requiring greater care in the cleaning and removal of the penetrant liquid. The probability of false indications increases in welded used parts, suggesting a differentiated approach for these cases.Item Aplicação do Método DMAIC em uma Empresa de Panificação(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2019) FERREIRA, Vellyan José dos Santos; QUARESMA, João Nazareno NonatoThe search for competitiveness through continuous improvement becomes a crucial process for ensuring the survival of companies. This study applies the DMAIC methodology in a bakery company located in Itacoatiara-AM, with the goal of eliminating waste-generating activities (MUDA). Through interviews, direct observation, and data collection, a case study was conducted. Tools like Project Charter, Flowchart, Ishikawa Diagram, GUT Matrix, 5W2H Action Plan, and Control Plan supported each step of the DMAIC. The method’s implementation identified significant waste in French bread manufacturing and proposed corrections that considerably reduced waste, enhancing the company’s efficiency and savings.Item Controle de Qualidade no Processo de Soldagem de Componentes BGA no Processo de Fabricação de Placas de Notebook(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2014) COSTA, Robson Marques; FUJIYAMA, Roberto TetsuoIn recent years, companies have invested in technological improvements to add lightweight, reduced size, and high performance to products, aiming to meet global demand. This dissertation aims to conduct a study on the quality and reliability of the Reflow soldering process of BGA (Ball Grid Array) technology components in the manufacturing of notebook boards. Using qualitative and quantitative methods, tests such as Cross Section and Dye and Pry were conducted to evaluate the soldering quality. The results showed that the Reflow soldering process meets the acceptability criteria of international standards, indicating that the process quality can reflect better cost conditions and competitiveness for the investigated organization.Item Melhorias no Gerenciamento da Qualidade em um Processo Produtivo de Fita de Aço(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2018) LIMA, Elizangela da Costa; BRAGA, Eduardo de MagalhãesThe main objective of this work was to implement improvements in quality management in a steel strip production process. A study of the process was conducted to understand the operational workflow, the management of non-conforming products, and the tools used. Improvement actions were suggested, and the MPAS (Methodology of Problem Analysis and Solution) was implemented to solve the most critical problems. The results indicated a 60% reduction in the non-conforming product indicator in the year following the improvements, highlighting the importance of proper use of quality tools and continuous process monitoring.
